This are more fancier.
How thick would be a slab of steel to be effective against small arms?
Also, I'm interested in the design of the bearings of the gun turrets.

Well, fuck me, I just confused the name space with the subject of the thread. I really need to go to sleep. See you latter, Streloks.

i wonder how many of these aren't using mild steel that won't stop harsh language. or in the case of the first one, galvanized construction material.

It's got mobility, but you can't use anything too big or it will tear your suspension to shit (assuming you do this to a Toyota or Jeep truck).
As far as mobile mortars go, the US fields a Stryker that holds a 120mm gun because the US can afford armored vehicles for everything.

the first one isnt improvised, its a M40 recoilless rifle mounted on a jeep which was common and done by the US and anybody else who used them
Iran actually makes a copy of both the jeep and rifle and has sent quite a lot of them to Syria, pic related
also Iranian DSHK mounted on a dune buggy

Might be useful actually. A tank could haul it along. IFVs will end up following tanks around anyways. Then the tank can simply leave it behind and it becomes a small bunker.

Are the blueprints for any old warplanes (or AFVs, for that matter) readily available, or are they still considered 'state secrets'?
c60bb2 No.327779

I've thought about this.
What stops somebody from draping the wings of a Cessna in small arms? Or just having someone in the back tossing IEDs out the side door?
c60bb2 No.327785
>>327779
Now I've been thinking about this more.
How many 2-liters or gallon milk jugs full of homemade napalm and stoppered with a road flare could a common civilian craft carry? I'm also aware that you can mix thermite into plaster of Paris to sculpt it, and the resulting solid object still burns like thermite with only a mild reduction in intensity. Sounds like a good way to deliver an extremely angry fire to rooftops.

>>327785
What about some barrel bombs in a smaller scale? >>327779 is right about dropping IEDs, at least it has been successful in Syria. Using propane gas tanks as bombs instead of improvised artillery shells could work. Also, some air to ground rocket artillery would be nice; it would be innaccurate though.
