In the early 1980s we put such sanctions on them that Yugoslavia collapsed economically. We also agitated nationalist movements in Albania, and those movements spilled over into Yugoslavia, in the 1980s Kosovo riots.

We meddled in the Balkans FAR more than Southeast Asia or Central America, it's the greatest secret war never told. Sadly few books or movies are made about it because the nouns from the region are even more unpronounceable than Vietnamese or Nicaraguan.

People tend to forget anything about Yugoslavia past the 1950s and late 1940s. The 1974. Constitution says this:

One of the most successful Swedish movies of all time.
The director/producer dropped out of school due to dyslexia when he was like 11, and he was more or less illiterate.
He was also self-taught in English and insisted on handling all the licensing deals himself.
So despite that this movie was dubbed over in like 30 languages and showed in the big screen in like 50 countries, and the fact that it actually played in theaters in New York and made more money than some Hollywood blockbusters at the time, no one involved in the production got more than a few hundred dollars for their work.
Several of the actors were classically trained polish actors hired because the director/producer had heard they were cheaper than their British or American counterparts.
The production team ended up writing a fake script for a boring drama and mailing in to the Polish communist government, just so that the Poles could get paperwork to travel abroad.
Despite the lack of profit, the director/producer was encouraged by the success of his movie and set up a studio to mass produce shitty action schlock.
They made like a movie a week for 2 years and even got a very alcoholic David Carradine to star in 3 of their movies, even though Carradine thought he was only starring in one, and he had to be force fed coffee and whiskey to act.
Very few of these movies are even listed on IMDB, and the rest only exist as dusty old VHS or Betamax tapes in someone's attic.
I actually know one of the people that supplied weaponry for these movies.
Most of the stuff they used was real full auto surplus temporarily modified for blank fire.

Wouldn't know myself, those two webms come from a documentary on an Argentinian comic artist.
That one on particular is an animated fragment of one of his earliest big works, the series was called As de pique (Ace of spades), after the real American B17 that saw action during WW2. Maybe you guys could look up the missions that specific plane had to find out whether or not that could actually be the bombing on Dresden.

That one is based on a comic on the WARIII series, I read a bunch of them like a year ago, the links must be out there somewhere. I was actually looking for an english version to share it here as it is very /k/-wet dream/Stalker-like, but I never found scans of the English version.
Really great stuff, not the most accurate piece of work when it comes to weapons, the technical specifications on the power-suits/super soldier mash-ups are kind of silly, but very good non-the-less.
Some 3D modeling studio made this renders and I must say, it would make for an awesome game.
