Depends. If someone breaks into your house, you're not really going to have a chance to use it unless you were sleeping in the damn thing. Plus, you'll shred your walls and furniture like styrofoam.

What you ought to do is automate it. Hook it up to an infrared camera and have it fire at any warm bodies that approach your house without wearing a special transponder. Hell, with a setup like that, you could live in the middle of Detroit and never need to lock your doors.

Yeah! If I had a large estate/ranch/hacienda I'd place it at the middle, or in a F-650 to turn it into a technical. I'd use a Quadmount or a ZU-23 or a ZU-4. I'd place warnings at the fence.

I will admit my physics is a bit shit and I may be a little bit drunk atm (can't remember the way to work out the maximum speed of an average man firing 4 GAU8s at once, any help much appreciated) but you're accelerating at just shy of 3km a second per second.

On a scale of 1-10 (where 1 = completely fucking toast, and 10 = zero risk of death) how survivable would that be? What equipment would you want/need to improve your odds?

Would this be just awesome or completely fucking amazing?
