We had these threads where the entire idea that /k/ is an organization that hunts witches, monsters and other paranormal shit with our main enemies being the /co/lectors they were really comfy threads. I wonder if we had any screen caps or someone archived them if not lets just start a new thread.

Things have gotten so bad they're now retroactively editing old articles to get rid of "inappropriate" content, basically sanitizing a lot of what made the site scary. Wanna make a creepy article about sex? Too bad, it had better not involve cishets, you misogynists.

Dude, Procedure 110:Montauk was 100% triggering and problematic, don't you know it's [the current year]? I don't think they even had specific rules to ensure continuous, affirmative, consent during that procedure! It would be much better to simply let the world end than inflict that on anyone! :^)
Ahem, excuse me.
It's a shame, there was seriously awesome content on the old site (and one or two items there that cost me a few nights sleep) but those creators/writers don't just vanish, they're still out there writing stuff in an attempt to make people shit themselves.
Worst case scenario we can always just up our game on the spoop threads that show up here, think something through and write a description of something more interesting than the standard skinwalker/goatman/spoopymonster stuff. Holy crap someone actually remembered those threads? Yeah I was the one who actually started them all those months ago, I let it fizzle out since I saw there wasn't much traction coming from it.
I saved some of the concept art we had. I may be missing some but I do have this pic of the /k/DR soldier.
I think /k/DR stood for /k/ontain Destroy Redact. The idea was that /k/DR was a PMC group hired by different countries when they experienced a paranormal problem that needed to be quelled. Their whole model wasn't really containing the monsters but always trying to find ways to kill them, they didn't have a containment policy unless it was for finding a way to kill something they couldn't take out in the field. The running idea behind it all was 'what if the teams in monster movies/comics/etc. were actually useful and not cannon fodder'
/k/DR was meant to have multiple different bases across the country and since they were constantly in need they could easily afford high end equipment and transports.
The /co/llectors were meant to be a group of people who meet up online and began capturing paranormal creatures. Their community grew in size via online photos of their captures (easy stuff at first like fairies, unicorns, etc.) and they picked up a following across the world. They viewed paranormal creatures as collectible items and rated them based on how rare they were to find. They would sometimes impede in /k/DR operations to beat them to the monster or show up after they've worn it out. Compared to /k/DR they were meant to be more ragtag functioning off of military surplus gear, AKs, weapons that have been illegally modified and other improv stuff.
/k/DR and /co/llectors had their own 'mascots'
/k/DR had a shaved bigfoot around their base who gave lectures on innawoods shit.
/co/llectors had a popobawa who lounged around their base eating food and annoying personnel. They couldn't get rid of it since it was their first major capture and the damn thing just refused to leave.
A way to put it up was that /k/DR was XCOM and /co/llectors were EXALT.
But yes that's all the information I recall and we can add to.

13a39e No.329141
>>329131
I did a little bit of lore and then made a quick couple of concepts using innawoods.
I would pull them up again, but my fullsize PC recently died, so that's been a bitch.
Long story short, there were units that were more "strictly" military, that mostly used 6.5mm grendel rifles (M16 rifle length patterns, usually) with 10mm sidearms, and grenade launchers. Marksmen could take pretty much whatever they wanted as long as it came in comblock or real fuckin NATO, and using exotic ammo (AP, tracer, incendiary, explosive, whatever,) was highly encouraged in the name of science.
Standard equipment was a fair amount of armor, but not a full on IOTV, a helmet, a gasmask, and lots of explosives.
I followed it up with a fairly shitty explanation of the concept that teams with more experience were encouraged to use best judgement to optimize their equipment for a given situation, and then and even shittier example of a team that would face something like, say, Raccoon City, knowing they'd be crawling through a bunch of really shitty tiny spaces.
I really liked the concept put the pace went super fast and I felt like I was in over my head. Plus, some people were super excited for what I posted, and a few others just kind of blew right by and it wrote other stuff. Plenty of it was good, but it was confusing as fuck which one we were going with.

How do you kill any other well-known forest oddity? The only stories I tend to believe in are skinwalker stories (if they hold up) because they're common all no over the web. That's because it's still 110-Montauk, the comments say it's probably rape and other say it's something worse than rape (neckbeards kissing her?), from what I remember viewing it 4-5 days ago. But if the assigned personnel who perform it need counseling, therapy, mind wipes or kill themselves after they do it then it's probably rape. It also talks about how if they ever get the girl too agitated they can just mindwipe her and start all over again since it'd work. Which also suggests some traumatic process - rape. What else could you do that would fuck up a girl mentally, anyway? Tell her she has no life importance other than sex and childbirth? sounds about right

wew, that got fucked up. Let's try again.
Any good programmers out there?
I've had an idea for a long time about an SCP-type game that plays as a cross between X-COM (the original one, faggot) and Prison Architect.
The gist is that you've got a geoscape where you dispatch agents to locations, an agent mission screen where you play out what happens when an agent gets to a site with something paranormal happening in the style of a VN, a basebuilding/maintanance mode where you keep an eye on all the horrors you've captured and locked away, and a turn-based combat mode (ideally with TUs) where you dispatch creatures in your base that are trying to flee, or send a squadout to the field because your agent fucked up and now ayyys are invading Bumsville Nowhere, or there's a zombie breakout because your agent failed to follow procedure, or whatever.
Heavy management aspects, with rotating staff to ensure they don't go insane, using psychologists and therapists to keep everyone going, physically containing whatever you find, researching to develop better containment methods, better gear, better facilities, etc.
Your goal is to keep public awareness of the project and the existence of things that shouldn't exist to a minimum. There'd be a rating for how much the public knows, and it can't go down, so if you screw up, you'll be paying massive amounts of money to cover things up. Even that will offer choices - you failed to ground assault and capture that UFO, so do you do a gunship run? Bomb it with heavy ordinance? Call in favors with the FBI and get their operators out there, since you won't have to worry about loss of life? Seal off the area around it and entrench yourselves to starve the ayys out? Or were you smart enough to research that acid bug thing from the last UFO, and learn to manufacture the acid yourself, so you can fly helis over and dump vats on the UFO until it's just a smoking chemical crater waiting to be bulldozed over.
Before you call me a filthy fucking ideas guy, I'm also a decent writer, and have basic programming skills in addition to being a run-of-the-mill sysadmin, just not enough programming knowhow to actually start something like this by myself. I also know a guy IRL who'd do art for it.

I'm thinking a cheekily breeki group of dudes get hired by some shady mufuckas to provide security while exploring a mysterious underground facility. They'll have go pro type cameras attached to helmets and some crazy lovecraftian shit will start happening. Maybe they can run into some SCP security dudes who've been holed up in their. They will have lost their sanity by that point obviously. I need to think about it longer before I start writing. I love lovecraftian shit and there just isn't enough of it out there. "It" being the super demon in the little girl's womb. So they're not singing a lullaby to her, they're torturing her as a lullaby for the demon.
That article has kind of a weird informal tone, a rating of zero, and it contradicts itself on the rape topic here:

Enjoy an SCP based on the everyday /k/ommando that I'm lazily writing up.
SCP-XXX
Class: /k/eter
Special Containment Procedures: At this time, there are no known methods of containing SCP-XXX
Description: SCP-XXX is a humanoid similar to that of an average human male. An approximate height of the entity is 5 feet 11 inches to 6 feet 4 inches. SCP-XXX also carries around a bandoleer and several pouches around it's waist, and appearing to wear camouflage shirt and pants. SCP-XXX also carries around SCP-XXX-1, which appears to be a standard issue SKS-45.
SCP-XXX will manifest whenever SCP-* is present within a forested selection of area. This manifestation is cued by the sound of an engine, coming from a 1990 Dodge Dakota, designated SCP-XXX-2 (see incident report XXX-1). SCP-XXX will reside within the forested area until it terminates any instance of SCP-* using any method available. When all instances of SCP-*** are terminated, SCP-XXX will leave the premises using SCP-XXX-2. When SCP-XXX leaves, no remains of it being in the area are found, aside from a reduced amount of wildlife and a small fire pit.
Attempts to communicate with SCP-XXX have been futile using traditional methods. Agents who go into the forest where SCP-XXX resides are met with potential lethal force from the SCP. Agents also report of hearing SCP-XXX shouting sentences in broken english and yelling "anuuu cheeki breeki" or "nogunz." SCP-XXX will not stop until the invaders are either terminated, or have left the wooded area.
