How do I know if this is good or not?

>with modified bolt and Boyd Stock

What is that?

c22888 No.331923

what the fuck is that barrel

f5e394 No.331927

thats too much for a mosin.

>What is that

Bolt handle is turned down to fit a scope, aftermarket stock from Boyds Gunstocks.

>How do I know if this is good or not?

>$260 for a nugget

It's not.

>>331923

A standard mosin barrel? Whats so strange about that?

c37058 No.331949

>>331927

Well, what does the stock and the bolt modification cost?

It might not be that bad.

It was probably some gunsmiths practice project. They probably feel justified in asking that much money for it since they put a lot of work into it. Fuck em though, I wouldn't buy that thing.

We buy nuggets here for 400+. I hope every /leftypol/ retard will get sterilized after World War 3, because that's how their "more government" ideas actually works.

This isn't 2011 you dumb niggers, this is what Mosins cost in the US now. Even shitty M38s and M44s go for $300.

cc6cb5 No.332001

>>331981

I'd buy it

for half of that

to use as my own practice project

The days of the 90-120 dollar moin are long gone, but you can still get them for 180-200$. 260$ is too much imo. Especially one that's been bubba'd.

4084a1 No.332036

I would not buy such a gun without first shooting it, because I've seen too many bubbas fuck up in some way.

But there are plenty of good modifications for cheap mosins, some of them military mods, dating back to 50s and 60s. I remember seeing at a gun show a Finnish mosin mod from the 60s which was really cool.

>259.99

Last time I checked a physical shop, regular mosin was $209.99, so the price isn't too high.

Keep in mind people, this seems to be in CANADIAN DOLLARS.

4084a1 No.332040

>>331949

About 50-60 bucks.

>>331999

Yeah it seems to be a fair price to me, if the gun is functional.

Go for it, you can get it drilled & tapped and not worry about getting the bolt bent cause it already is.
