Should i even try to make a stand or should i just flee to the mountains and hope to regroup with fellow countrymen in that situation? Everything is hypothetical, of course.

Black powder is easy to make even for a civilian so you can make that and some home made shells for that old shotgun, if it even fires.

Bow is kinda useless, crossbow though fedora tier would be a bit more better.

If there is a resistance, there will be some form of supply if it has any hope of success, I'd offer the use of you as a willing meatbag, the actual weaponry you have may or may not even come into consideration.

Huebro, your best shot is to bunker down.

Implying you're in a major city, the first couple of weeks are going to be a massive bloodbath, it's best to avoid this unless you're with one of the major factions.

Bunker down, ride out the storm, then if necessary leave the city as sneaky as possible.
