Would you buy a Trump-brand firearm?

7b42cc No.332910

No. Nothing he pushes with his brand is any good. It's all China-quality shit.

No, because they'd be overpriced shit boxes.

Trump brand Trump things are efficient money making machines, and because he has money he's not afraid to spend money to make money. Example: his investment into Trum-Uh I mean Tesla Motors.

Most gun companies are dying today, I don't think he'd patronize a weapons manufacturer unless it was Textron or something.

Nornico has been selling ripoffs of the MP5 that are surprisingly good quality.

Apparently, according to someone in the Philippines, they come in airshit-tier packaging: a styrofoam tray wrapped in cardboard and plastic wrap.

hwat? most are doing just fine, outside of the idiot corporatists like Colt and Remington.

it's not a High Spendo Extendo industry, it's slow and steady.

eh, ok

> buying a ROLLER LOCKING gun from Norinco

nope no nope

55bb75 No.333150

It would depend if it was worth buying.

I might be very slightly swayed towards one because of how much I like Trump. But it's generally a bad idea to buy anything because of which brand name is on it.

This is honestly the most retarded thing I've read on /k/ in a long time.

Not all but Colt and all Cerberus owned gun companies have gone to complete shit with either quality of financing.

>>332986

>they come in airshit-tier packaging: a styrofoam tray wrapped in cardboard and plastic wrap.

Hawk (Norinco) shotguns in the US come the same way, as do most guns. In fact its pretty rare to see guns come with a hard case from the factory.

>>333176

That's what ruined Remington, Marlin and Bushmaster to the point that Cerberus cant even manage to sell the companies after years of trying. Colt on the other hand right now is doing bad financially since it isn't getting big government contracts that it relied on for decades and refuses to sell products on the civilian market at a reasonable price point.

I understand conglomerates are buying up the old establishment firearm companies. But if you just use AR-15 and 1911 manufacturers, you'll notice that the market has boomed to the point that AR-15s are now cheap as fuck.

There are new companies popping up everywhere in the US, some may die off don't get me wrong, but the market has opened up to the point that manufacturers that have never done shit in the US are now building factories there.

Even companies that died during the threat of another AWB got bought out, refurbished and are still running.

To not realize this is just pure blissful ignorance.

The "there are 300million firearms in civilian hands" number has been being thrown around since the early 90's. Therefore no new firearms have been manufactured since then.

Of course. You can get a gold plated gun right now if you really want to. And in SHTF guns will presumably be usable trade objects.

Although it's worth noting that gold plating involves very little actual gold. In SHTF where nobody cares about aesthetics it probably wouldn't increase the value much beyond the value of the same gun in another finish.
