I live in NOVA outside the beltway. Generally inside the beltway the vast majority are left leaning and heavily anti-gun. Outside the beltway is a mixed bag but the climate is such that if you were to open carry as allowed by state law you would almost certainly have people gawking, giving nasty looks or even calling the cops.
