Hi, I am a Japanese Canadian from Progressive Canada. I hate my country and I want to burn down all the feminists and gay rights activists in this country.

Apart from that, I would like to build a 1:1 scale Type-74 MBT replica either next year or a year later at college after I get enough funding for it.

It will be made out of wood and metal and the tracks can move and the turret can rotate. Lights will flicker and most functions of the real Type-74 will be added to the replica if there is enough money in the bucket left. The gun can also fire plastic water bottles and it will have generic tank sounds unless some guy from Japan can give me the audio files for authentic engine sound and firing sounds.

The internals will be near 1:1 scale as well. I have my friend covering that for me. He almost has all the information needed to create a full realization of the inner workings and internals of the cockpit or whatever it's called.

However, some information is missing. He needs the following info:

>-What type of controls are the joystick or steering column? Pictures or sketch of the controls would be appreciated.

>-Is there an manual traverse system?

>Type 74 Gun Controls

>-What Type of Reticle is used for the J1 Gun sight?

>-Where is the Cannon Trigger located?

>-Is there an manual cocking lever for the Cannon?

>Type 74 Driver Hydropneumatic suspension Controls

>-Where is the control panel located?

You might be wondering, why help me? Why create an replica of an inferior Cold War Era tank?

The answer is Anime Conventions and to capture the attention of Japanese (or Canadian or American) Heavy Industries Corporations. "GATE: Thus the JSDF Fought There" is one of the most popular military anime/manga/novel series out there. Bringing a replica tank featured in the series at any anime or geek convention will grant me and my engineering team free passes and possibly hotel stays for the duration of the event. Not to mention my team may get special treatment at the conventions and our creation will be great on our portfolio.

I don't know what kind of reward I can give you if you help me. So throw some suggestions. Also, it'd be great if one of you can translate this into Japanese and post it on 2ch or any Japanese image board.

The JSDF has a lot of very nice modern weapons, but they can't actually afford new shit for the whole army so they like to either keep their old weapons in service or mothball them until they're totally obsolete.

The Type 60 is a good example: it officially remained in service until 2008, but in reality it had been completely withdrawn from frontline units at some point in the 80s.
