People praise Nazi Germany because that was the closest chance to Latvian independence during WW2 and thus it is a symbol of fighting for it. Nobody living in Latvia actually likes Socialism (given you ignore what the Russians think) and the government remains Socialist due to the party Saskaņa causing people to vote for Vienotība just to make sure the Russians don't win and due to the fact that there are a couple dozen smaller parties with less than half a percent of the vote.

The US government of today does this and the quality is poor. Everything in the USA is based on corn syrup because of subsidized corn to force the world to become dependent on US agriculture. If you knew even a bit about corn, you would understand that its essentially poison compared to other vegetables. Nothing good comes from it and its a factor in world obesity. The majority of the crop has been engineered to be one shot plants that grow really fast and resist anything… including bugs. That means every seasonal planting, you have to waddle up to a supplier and buy a fields worth of Monsanto shoots.

Not much better if you do not have the patented corn. If you (((mysteriously))) get a few patented GMO corn shoots, and you didn't plant any, the government will strong arm you to surrender your entire crop to Monsanto to 'recoup' their 'loses'. Has the added bonus of begging your neighbors that didn't give in for spare shoots or being forced to go to a supplier to buy the damn Monsanto shoots.

Would be FDA approved. Tyson, Pilgrim et al. have cocktails of treatments for all raw beef to preserve and resist bacteria right in the slaughter plant. Before that, livestock is pumped with antibiotics to keep them alive until slaughter age (the antibiotics, along with the corn based diet, also have the side effect of fattening them further as well). Why? Their immune systems do not effectively work since they are on a corn based, rather then grass based diet. You will never have the benefit of eating beef from unstressed, grass fed cows… unless you're a rancher or elite.

Oh by the way… The FDA will not permit anyone to sell beef in super markets across state lines without the drug cocktail. This is done purely to hand over agriculture to few… and it works.

Also, what's the point of selling ruined meats? I want to make my money on repeat business, and have pride in my product; I won't get that if my customers end up sick. Walk into a super market, you don't see many local brands, ranch emblems, or farm seals… you see the global corporation's brands selling mysterious, not-lean, and unusually sized meat that makes people sick in the long term: obese, cancerous, inept.

I've only read your post, and looked at the other one to make sure that it's the picture I was thinking of, so I have no idea what is going on there. So all I want to say is that libertarians usually have some pretty good practical ideas about running a government, but their whole philosophy fails to account for the inherent tribalism of humans, so it's completely useless. Many people would rather just make a quick deal with a friend of theirs instead of jewing around till they only spend the optimal amount of shekels, so running the whole world like if everyone was a jew who is only interested in business and bending laws is inherently wrong, because most people will either get jewed out of their lives, or they will just choose a completely different system and rev up those proverbial ovens.

Shouldn't the catalog be called the gatalog?
