This thread is created to discuss matters of diplomacy between alliances and other nations. If things need to be addressed, we will address them here.

As it stands now, the Continental Command acts as the Senate and the Founder/Head S.T.A.L.K.E.R. acts as the president (a figure head). All diplomatic matters that are given to the Founder are passed down to the Continental Command to make a decision on, which the founder/Head S.T.A.L.K.E.R. will pass final judgement on and then relay to other alliances.

In the future, the Continental Command will act as the Electoral College for major decisions voted upon by the Regional Commanders within their respective continents.

Considering that >POST is a fucking disaster (pardon the pun), I've looked into Realpolitik which Rumsodomy seems to be expanding daily. I currently am in charge of Hungary at the moment. Does anyone else play?

How it's different from >BLOC

There are Nations, there are Factions, and there are Corporations which players can take control of. If a player wishes to make a faction in a country that is currently administered, the player assumes control of that country. Almost every country is represented in this game.

Factions play into the game by vying not only for popular support but the eventual overthrow of the government (in most cases). There are four type of factions that can be used universally currently:

Communist, Right Wing, Nationalist, and Organized Crime.

However, there are some specialized ones available to The Middle East, Latin America and Africa. Those being:

Islamist (Mid. East), Drug Cartel (Latin America), and Warlord (Afrika).

As a faction, you gain power every turn in order to do stuff with (because factions don't need money apparently). This goes from essentially stealing weapons to launching an anti-government propaganda campaign. The amount of power you gain per turn depends on the approval you will gain as you play the game. The hosting country has the power to slap your goddamn shit at any time and launch a propaganda campaign against you, though. So try not to get on the radar.

Corporations just came out two days ago as of writing this and I'm not entirely sure about them so far. All I do know is that they have a specialized field and stick to it. They also have political power.

Money made in a country can be taxed and a corporation can make their factories/mines/wells in every country.

What are the basics of the game?

You are given one action point every five to ten minutes. Use those action points to scavenge food and water to feed yourself with. If you don't feed yourself, you will slowly degrade until they go to 0 hunger and thirst. The longer you go at 0, the more health you will lose until you are inevitably kill and reset. So check in

How does travel work?

To make your first pilgrimage to mother base, travel works like such: "Shit Town, MI" > Missouri>Another State. In order to travel to another city, you have to travel to the state (I'm assuming it's basically the interstate highway) and then go to whichever town you want, or cross into the next state.

What are tents good for?

If you're going to be staying in hostile territory, it's probably a good idea to bring a tent whenever you're idle. Otherwise, they're just temporary shelter that doesn't do much and can be packed up and brought with you where ever you go.

What's the overall goal of our influence in POST?

To project a sphere of influence beyond what current alliances in BLOC currently have and establish ourselves as a power preemptively.

Will I be provided aid in the event of an attack?

Yes, so long as your fellow S.T.A.L.K.E.R.s can manage to react in time
