Have you used dollchan script? You can still see the images in the masking mode by hovering mouse over them.

Imageboards have always been NSFW sites by default. Only 4chinks bans for porn images on the so called blue boards.

Next is not going to see deployment on 8chan!

On the night from last Sunday to this Monday this has happened:

- Josh resigned in a uberassburger meltdown, because he was off his meds and thought no one wanted to support him. Then Hotwheels fired him for lying to him about 2ch's involvement in Next.

How it happened

Around 19:30 this Monday on my end the beta instance of Infinity Next has been nuked and replaced with following weird message:

>I made an executive decision to take a different direction in trying to save 8chan. Infinity Next is Infinity Never after all.

Shortly after Hotwheels announced that he will have a stream about this matter which he actually held six hours later. Hotwheels has revealed in a form of a leak from #8chan-staff that there was a fallout between him and Josh. Furthermore he has announced that he will hold a poll for deciding the next step.

The stream and the leak are pretty one sided and incomplete without any understanding of who Josh actually is. As for now we should reserve judgement until Josh tells his part of the story. It will be likely bogus.

The aftermath

The vast majority of 8chan's user base wants to keep Vichan. This will lead to Hotwheels doing what he should have done 6 months ago according to my opinion. The next option voted in is Lynxchan, dead last is salvaging Next.

One day later, HW went on a ugly twitter tirade against Josh. Now the AGPL license is a problem.

Next will likely continued to be developed. It maybe gets renamed back to Larachan or continue its existince as Infinity-Next in the hands of 2ch. Hotwheels tries to get another license to get the product that Josh has implicitly wrote for us out of his total control. Josh claims that HW is attempting to steal it.
