>Do any of you play the games or listen to arranges?

I'm moving away from being a filthy secondary.

I got a controller and have been giving the games serious tries the last week, but I still really suck and haven't beaten any of them on normal yet. I think my controller's d-pad is a bit poor and might not be the best for precision, but it works better than my keyboard. I avoid bombing, often losing all my lives without bombing once. It feels like an easy way out for something I could avoid.

2hu jazz and a few piano arranges have made up the majority of music on my phone for some time. I actual downloaded some albums today.

My favorite seems to vary sometimes.

Mokou seems nice and fiery. Her design is pretty and cool. Theme music is good as well, a while into it, a xylophone-like melody plays quickly and sounds awesome..

I gave LoLK a quick try today on normal difficulty/pointdevice mode.

Pointdevice seems kinda neat in that I can quickly retry what I'm having difficulty with. It reminded me of the platformer Dustforce in that it's not aggravating when you fail: it simply drops you back at a checkpoint, but still makes you feel like aiming for a perfect run. It feels like its more for practicing after you fail constantly, so legacy mode would be for the serious tries.

I got stuck on what I think was Doremy's last spell card. I looked up a lunatic run and didn't notice any difference between the normal and lunatic difficulty of the card.

Tenshi because her personality is very similar to my own and I love her.

I played all of the main games and some of the spinoffs. Currently working on 1cc'ing IN on normal.

I haven't played the games, and I don't know too much about the characters' backgrounds. I've always been a fan of Reimu's design though. Red and white are a striking combination, and her hair tube things are cute. Also, best armpits.

It's funny that the costumes are so elaborate simply because ZUN is terrible at drawing the human body.

I'm terrible at Touhou, the farthest I've gotten is level 3 in EoSD. Supposedly many other games are easier, so perhaps I'd be able to beat them with some dedication. I love the music though, and I'm fond of these two for whatever reason.

It's a tie between fiery immortal, and sickly witch. My fondness for them is entirely based on their aesthetic, and lore. I've seen a couple of the fan animations, and never played any of the games, but I want to.

Pretty much this, Reimu has the best art and it was the first thing that got me interested in this. I´ll read the manga and play the games soon, its been years since I played anything so its safe to assume im going to have a hard time even in easy mode. Reisen is cute too.

The fanbase makes a lot of derivative work and attracts its share of attention, to the point of people becoming fans despite not looking at the source material (i.e. Secondaries, fans of the fandom).

Give the games a try and learn about the characters.

If the games are too hard, keep practicing and look at some replays.

i've played most of the games, but never beat any of them. farthest i've gotten is up to youmu in PCB, so that's atleast something.

My favorite character is Nue, because to me she seems like someone who just doesn't care for rules and just wants to have fun.

i listen to the music/arranges aswell, it's what got me into Touhou in the first place. Shinigiwa Satellite is probably one of my favorite circles
