So there's a vote going down until a few more hours, as to what will happen with 8chan. Currently in the lead is the option to just kill this site already.

I think they're going to keep working on it even if the meme option wins.

The reason why I got on 8chan in the first place was because of the board creation/customization aspect.

It was written about as a good alternative chan site being like the wild wild west in that most content imaginable be allowed on it.

I think as long as there's enough interest in it the site will persist in this form or be replaced by something better.

But even the internet isn't a guaranteed thing is it? I'm just glad we had this site to post on in the first place.

I'm not giving up on 8chan. It's just next that will never be. There's still hope for vichan. Besides, moving to some other imageboards will just split (I.E kill) this already tiny community.

Yeah, people thought JUST was a serious option instead of thinking rationally. vichan is a pile of tape by now but it still works, people want it to be what they use so by god they'll try to fix it.

Anyways posting and indexes are back to original and working good because wheels turned stats off. Josh wrote a patch for it originally and that was apparently causing the issues with eaten posts. Things are looking up already.
