I tend to navel-gaze about my oh so interesting life as a full-time burger-flipper trying to get /fit/ and making stuff online no one ever cares about (beware I may spam stuff I've done to you in a "look wut I made!1!" gesture), small-talk bitching about stuff everyone goes through for the sake of conversation, and I'm also a consumer of heavy metal, horror media, moeshit animu, and pseudo-intellectual spirituality shit (mostly Buddhism-leaning) like I've read/heard from Alan Watts and Eckhart Tolle.

But I'm making the effort to follow How To Win Friends & Influence People (a person's favorite subject is themself, so get 'em talking and they'll like you more) and The 7 Habits Of Highly Effective People (seek first to understand, then to be understood) to try and be a less socially dysfunctional individual. Practice makes perfect.

Also I'm a fan of old-school shock jocks like Maddox and Tom Leykis, Dungeons & Dragons and other /tg/-related subjects, and on my crappy old Internet I spent much time on sites like qdb.us and textfiles.com, especially before discovering image boards in '08. I still don't follow much of YouTube except the occasional fitness channel like Scooby's Workshop, Strength Camp, and Athlean-X, and maybe some creepypastas/SCP junk when I get the itch; too bad 2spoop stuff has gone way downhill.

With all my disparate likes and dislikes (especially my propensity to write paragraph after paragraph about myself as if anyone out there gave a fuck) I'm probably an undiagnosed sperglord and narcissistic, manic/depressive bipolar, and/or just the result of a poor, socially-bereft upbringing turning me jaded, withdrawn, and terribly sardonic – especially towards myself. In other words, your bog-standard, diamond-dozen chantard. That was supposed to be humor of the 'dry wit' variety; why won't you applaud my jenious oh Thor I'm lonely.

Some of the IRC users have been "playing" with the bot so someone in the chat commented "/kind/ more like /lewd/" because kindbot gave some very nsfw responses.

I still don't really get how to work irc. It seems annoying to me for a lot of reasons, but mostly because to close down every time my computer goes to sleep or I close my browser. There anyway to just keep it running or have it automatically open a certain chat?

It might be better if you were to use an irc client instead of a browser. I'm currently using hexchat. It logs back on it's own when I wake from hibernation/sleep.

Web irc is fine but a dedicated client is better for keeping logs and stuff
