Anyone ever watch this show? It's hilariously blatant propaganda at its worst. The animation quality is terrible in the early episodes which might as well be an entirely separate series due to that and the storyline, so I don't suggest checking it out starting there. I linked the "newest" episode I could find.

Fucking hell, /korea/

OP here. I've watched up to episode 50 of 62. Each episode is ~1 hour long, which leaves ~12 hours of episodes left.

I'm very sorely tempted to skip to the end and just watch the final episode. It's frustrating to watch–so many things can be simplified if the protagonists WERE JUST HONEST AND OPEN WITH EACHOTHER.

For example, if one of the main characters had just mentioned to the other main characters that he WAS THE ANTAGONIST'S SON, it would have cleared up SO MUCH drama and bullshit!

This is a very well made series, and is sending me through an emotional rollercoaster. I've already cried earlier on in the series, too.

I dunno if I can take this much drama.

#2 I am glad to hear that it's good. I started to watch it, and will get around to watching it all sometime soon, but my free time is pretty much non-existent during the weekdays due to work and studying and this weekend I have been gaming a lot (nothing new there) and I have been working on creating a Korean equivalent to the Daily Japanese Thread. It's more work than I thought it would be.

I know how filler can be though. DBZ anyone? The original DBZ that is, not DBZ Kai where they cut all of the filler out and made the anime resemble the manga a lot more. But, I enjoyed pretty much all of the filler, so who am I to complain?

What drama are you thinking about watching next?

You can find girls who simply want to bang foreigners anywhere really. Certain bars and nightclubs are known for attracting certain crowds though, so you just kinda have to look around. Whether or not they are quality girls… well… that is for you to decide. If someone wants to bang you simply because of your foreignness, chances are they aren't gonna be great for the long term, but you won't be there long anyway. Itaewon is just mentioned often in this regard because that is where a lot of foreigners congregate and because of the Red-Light district. It is by no means the only place where you will find promiscuous Koreans though.

As for what might be a more serious suggestion, like the other anon said, be sure to check out things that you don't have in your country. Especially historical landmarks like the very well known 경복궁 (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gyeongbokgung), if you are in to that kind of stuff that is. If you go there, try to catch the changing of the guard. It's kinda cool. If you think experiencing Joseon-era Korea would be cool, head to 남산골한옥마을(https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Namsangol_Hanok_Village). It's quite a unique experience. The places I mentioned aren't open on Tuesdays, so be sure to keep that in mind.
