Yeah… for some reason a whole bunch of people are just now finding out about an epic song that is years old and it took Micro$oft's recent ad to make it happen. Whatever though, at least the holy message of K-Pop is spreading in the United States.

I found the commercial that has "I Am the Best" in it. Has anyone in America actually seen it on TV? I don't use Microsoft's products (not even Windows, I'm a Linux guy) but I think things like this help legitimize K-pop as a fandom and so I have to give them props for that.

Also, it looks like fellow K-pop fans raided the comments section of that article.:)

My sister said she saw the commercial, but I haven't because I don't watch TV. I watch all my shows on my computer via Netflix and… other means.

Did you guys hear about CL's upcoming solo album? I hope that doesn't mean the end of 2NE1 soon. If it does, I will probably cry IRL. Since CL's upcoming album is called a US album, I wonder if that means it will be in English. I pray to Korean Jesus that that isn't the case.

I've seen it several times, the song choice was totally arbitrary since they never actually say "I'm the best" anywhere in the ad, unless they're trying to sell Windows to people who speak Korean already…

I hadn't heard about it :O But I'm sure they won't split up yet. They've got a lot further to go first.

I thought Girls' Generation's US release of The Boys might have some English songs on it, but there was only the English version of the single, the rest was all Korean. So I think they would specifically say "English album" if it was going to be all in English.
