Gumiho is pretty good as far as kdramas go. The rule of thumb for most is no matter how good they are, the ending will inevitably be shit. Also keep in mind that almost every one of them relies on the following 3 tropes: Rich guy/gal and poor guy/gal fall in love, Time Travel, Amnesia.
