Has anybody seen blade man/iron man? I think it debuted last week if I'm not mistaken.

About to watch The Genius.
What should I expect?
No.72
>>67I've watched the first episode, and found it awful.
It's too scripted, and the games are too simple. The participants are either to dumb to understand what the games are about, or they're told to act dumb to make the show more entertaining.
No.84
>>72>The participants are either to dumb to understand what the games are aboutThat's really common in Running Man; like, is really too hard to understand a simple game?
No.88
>>84Noticed a lot of the times the rules are explained rather haphazardly so I could see some confusion.

What are some good entry level dramas?
No.90
>>89I'd say that You Who Came from the Stars is really entry level, because you're already familiar with the Gianna Jun (and perhaps with Yoo Inna).
No.91
>>89Dream High is probably the most entry level possible and isn't too awful considering the cast is all idols essentially (Suzy, IU, Taecyeon, Wooyoung, Eunjung, JYP) or Kim Soohyun
No.93
>>89City Hunter or Dream High. Or whatever that Reply one was called with some idols on it too.
No.94
>>90I'll check it out, thanks
>>91>>93Dream High so far the only drama I've watched and didn't like it. Some of the acting was cringeworthy. But I'll check out the other mentioned dramas.

>'Iron Man' rose 1.4% from a 5.5% viewer rating on Wednesday to a 6.9% viewer rating on Thursday.
Pretty low, but all the mid week ones are below 10%. At least is is rising.
No.267
>>207honestly it doesn't seem all that worthy of getting big ratings anyway. it's about some like game developer ceo who discovers some weird powers? eh. After watching It's Okay That's Love, everything else seems so bland

>that High Kick Through the Roof episode where they they meet their dad for the first time
I wasn't ready ;__;
No.357
>>281I would say so. Ratings wise it wasn't big. I don't think it ever hit 15%. It was the top streamed series that was airing by a huge number though, and those that did watch it loved it.
No.501
>>267I know what you mean. After it ended the only show I've managed to keep following is the Three Musketeers. It's only one episode per week, unfortunately.
It's Okay, That's Love spoiled me in so many ways. The soundtrack is one of the best I've heard, and used highly effectively.

Why I am still watching this hot mess of a drama
Why are Korean divorce and family laws fucked up the ass
Why do I still ship lead lady and the douchey politician
No.968
>>966I thought about checking it out when it wraps up. Park Siyeon is my noonafu. Does Sojin get any decent screentime?

Currently watching Heart to Heart, which I'm also enjoying. It's also breaking some traditional kdrama plot tropes.

No.1584
>>1579There's scenes in every episode, I think. Enough to keep fans tuning in.
Personally I'm a bit irked by her scenes - her character seems somehow out of place from the rest of the show, without as much depth as the rest of the cast.
No.1586

Re: Heart to Heart - It was a pretty good show, all in all, though the final childhood connection plot twist was unnecessary. The way it dealt with kdrama cliches was refreshingly direct: none of the conflicts dragged out, misunderstandings were sorted out quickly etc. I wish they'd focused a more on how Hong-Do was cured of her phobias. Another con was how they dealt with the unrealistic and unethical side of the doctor-patient relationship.
>>2378For moar you could check out the show, or check youtube for her Wonder Girls stuff. Sohee was pretty charming in the drama and got more airtime towards the end of it. Her funny face grew on me.

where are the kdrama watching girl posters?
