POSTAL 1You're going to need to own a copy of POSTAL 1 - Steam, Desura, GOG, or Fudge Pack should do it - or really any latest copy of Postal Plus, off your retail disc or whatever.
P1's multiplayer consists of a peer-to-peer connection multiplayer, for up to 16 players. Modes include deathmatch and co-op.

PLEASE STANDBY)Other StuffFor Non-Steam versions of STP:Since GameSpy is kill, non-Steam versions of P2:STP can't connect to the master server anymoreto see the server list, anymore. This isn't a problem for our multiplayer events, since you can just directly IP connect to our server. However, if you want to receive the server list and check out some other servers on your own, then here's what you do:
>Open up Postal2.ini>Just find the line that says ServerActors=IpDrv.UdpServerUplink MasterServerAddress=master.gamespy.com MasterServerPort=27900 and change it to ServerActors=IpDrv.UdpServerUplink MasterServerAddress=master.333networks.com MasterServerPort=27900. I learned that when I was setting up the server, you might want to add that info to the sticky.>There's also another instance of master.gamespy.com you have to change under [UBrowserAll]. After that the master server list should load.Teampeak Server:We also have a Teamspeak 3 server, for those who like to voice chat while playing.

While I'm here, I would also like to formally inform you all that I won't be able to participate in this week's event either. I am the devil himself, I know, but unrelated and forseen circuimstances will keep me busy this Saturday. I will leave it up to Sage to decide whether or not he wants to bother having an event on his own, this week. He has been a trooper these many weeks and /krotchy/ Saturdays would not be the same without him, so I grant him the authority to make or break this event.
The saturday AFTER this one, though, we return to our regularly scheduled programming, though. I will be using the time till then to take another look at POSTAL 1's multiplayer and figure out how to make it work. STAY TUNED.

I'm guessing it works similarly to pre-Gamespy multiplayer networks. Fatal Racing comes to mind. From documentation I found from the late 90s, it appears to be just host, give people the IP and they join like the old days. I don't see a Multiplayer Menu on Postal Plus that would make it user friendly for people to connect to.
