During the holidays I bought well 15 copies of postal 1 and 2 to random anon's back on /v/.

I have only once played postal 2. 30 minutes online on a laptop and it was pirated and somehow it was strictly multiplayer.

Well they gave out the multiplayer portion of Postal 2: share the pain for free. So even if you did torrent it, you didn't rob them of their money or anything like that.
I do hope you play the single player version. It's well worth the time wasted.
