with the entire game, enemies and environments being based on the progressively destabilizing mental state of the main character, and then there's obviously Hotline Miami,
where a good chunk of the game is the coma dream of the main character, and a lot of the themes and gameplay mechanics reflect on the character's murderous tendancies (drawing parallels between that and the player's enjoyment of playing a violent video game).Can't really think of anything else like that, right now, though.
