Prabhupada: Yes. Then Satya-yuga will begin.

Allen Ginsberg: Then what begins?

Prabhupada: Satya-yuga.

Allen Ginsberg: Which is?

Prabhupada: Satya-yuga, the pious. Satya-yuga. People will be pious, truthful, long-living.

Allen Ginsberg: Are those people that remain or whatever new creation comes out of the destruction?

Prabhupada: Some of them will remain, some of them. It will not completely extinguish. Some of them will remain, pious. Paritranaya sadhunam vinasaya ca duskrtam [Bg. 4.8]. All miscreants will be killed, and out of them, there must be some pious… They remain.

Allen Ginsberg: Do you think of this in terms of a historical event that will occur in the lifetime of your disciples?

Prabhupada: No. This will happen at least 400,000's of years after, at least. So by that time…

Allen Ginsberg: They will go down, down, down for 400,000 years?

Prabhupada: Yes. So at that time my disciples will be with Krsna. (laughter)

Kirtanananda got in the Landcruiser and drove across the commune. A female devotee had arrived from London the day before and he had to welcome her. He didn't really want to meet her. He hated dealing with women. Before his weekly darshan, or meeting, with female disciples, Kirtanananda would always tell his male devotees, "Get out the incense, boys, it's fish night."

When a man came to him and told him he was having problems with his wife, the guru's advice usually boiled down to two words: "Hit her."

"Three things are better when you beat them: your drum, your dog, and your wife," he liked to say. That is exactly what many men at New Vrindaban did.

“Many devotees, especially Europeans and Americans, come to India and want to discover the secrets of yoga, tantric powers, magical siddhis. And they go to all these supposed gurus, who give them very light austerities and ask for a money. Lots of money, you know? So these Americans, these Westerners, they give the money, and they get some little secrets of yoga, and they go back to the West and open a studio and teaching their little secret, and they charge more money. And what does this get? Karma. Karma for the guru who charged money, karma for the Westerner who paid the money, karma for the students who pay money to go to the new studio to learn the little secrets. Ah. And it’s really all for nothing, it’s for little siddhis that aren’t worth even as much as a book or a cell phone today.

Listen, I will tell you a real secret. If you want power, real power, power like Vrtrasura, Naruda Muni, Arjuna, Mayasura, Bali Maharaj, or Lord Ravana, you only need one secret, one practice. It is a mantra, a mantra that can give you literally anything you want, anything you need. Ah. Listen carefully, here is the mantra:

HARE KRSNA HARE KRSNA // KRSNA KRSNA HARE HARE

HARE RAMA HARE RAMA // RAMA RAMA HARE HARE.

You fix your intention or your goal in your mind, and then you chant this mantra, at least 1728 times per day.

If you are impatient, you want to make real progress very quickly, you chant it 6912 times per day. But that is a severe austerity, that takes real dedication, I don’t think anyone has it today.

When I was young, I wanted to be an aghori, to do terrible rites, and sleep in the smashan, and have an asuri or raksasi for a — you know — for a wife, and to get a lot of money and power. In other words, I wanted to be a Westerner, because they do terrible things, and their women are all raskasis, and they have a lot of money and power, ah?

Does the intention or goal have to stay in mind all the time during chanting or just once before it begins?

Believe that it is implied to keep it in mind whilst chanting concurrently. However, as the supersoul knows all of our desires this method will most likely work as well.

We have experienced quite a great deal of financial gain from chanting, a great sense of pleasure or happiness, and wisdom and creative ideas. As well as different work placements and promotions. And protection from those who wish to harm us.

As for others, we note they experience a great deal of happiness and some such a great deal they become dependent upon the mercy of Krsna.

Some individuals enter deep trances, go ecstatic or mad in devotional love or weep tears of joy. (Signs of this devotional ecstasy can be found in The Nectar of Devotion by Srila Prabhupada).

What's more even Krsna himself in the Bhagavad Gita As It Is states:

"O best among the Bhāratas, four kinds of pious men begin to render devotional service unto Me — the distressed, the desirer of wealth, the inquisitive, and he who is searching for knowledge of the Absolute."

We hope this answers your question,if it does not then simply chant and the hand of Krsna will guide you.

One side note it is recommended to chant upon tulasi mala beads. As well as to obtain a bead bag and counter beads. You can purchase these online from krishnaculture.com however the shipping is outrageously expensive unfortunately.

"As soon as a woman attains the age of puberty, she immediately becomes very much agitated by sexual desire. It is therefore the duty of the father to get his daughter married before she attains puberty. Otherwise she will be very much mortified by not having a husband."

Then, a blazing mass of red clouds was seen to suddenly appear overhead, and from those clouds came showers of weapons such as chakras and thunderbolts. Karna tried to smash all of these weapons with his arrows, but was this time unsuccessful, and so a great massacre of the Kaurava army ensued. Then, as the oppressed Kaurava warriors gazed up into the sky, they saw innumerable fierce Rakshasas. With blazing mouths and sharp teeth, those Rakshasas were hurling showers of darts and other weapons down upon them, and thus they were being pierced and crushed on all sides. At last, all of the surviving Kaurava soldiers fled from the scene of the battle, and so Karna was left alone in the midst of the shower of weapons.
Karna did not waver, however, and he continued to send a steady stream of arrows into the sky while fresh horses were yoked onto his chariot by a new driver. Ghatotkacha then hurled a staghni weapon with wheels that killed these horses, and after getting down from his disabled chariot, Karna attempted to dispel the Rakshasa’s illusions by means of his celestial weapons. His attempts turned out to be futile, so Karna began to fearfully think about what he should do next. Upon seeing how their leader had become highly vulnerable while being severely assaulted by showers of weapons, the Kaurava warriors began to shout, “O Karna, now is the time for you to invoke the infallible dart of Indra! The sons of Dhritarashtra and our entire army are about to be consumed by this terrible Rakshasa! Therefore, please kill Ghatotkacha immediately so that the survivors can contend with the Pandava army tomorrow.”
When Karna heard these anxious pleas and saw how Ghatotkacha’s devastating attack was annihilating the Kaurava army, he made up his mind to employ Indra’s infallible dart which he had worshiped for many years in the hopes of killing Arjuna. When Ghatotkacha saw Indra’s dart in Karna’s hand, he immediately assumed a gigantic form and began to fearfully run away from the battlefield at full speed. However, when Karna hurled that wonderful dart, it immediately dispelled all of Ghatotkacha’s illusions, pierced him right through the chest and it then soared all the way up to heaven. Being fatally wounded, Ghatotkacha let out a terrible roar and then fell down dead upon the ground. And yet, even at the point of death, the heroic son of Bhima wanted to do something to benefit the Pandavas. Thus, while falling, Ghatotkacha kept expanding his body and thenPost too long.
