In the course of expanding ones scope of knowledge, and intelligence, I am here to ask if any of you have been to >>>/edu/ ? Its a pretty based board imo. I feel that /lang/, and /edu/ could/would work well together.

I think the problem with /edu/ is that it's too general in its scope. It's trying to be /lang/, /lit/, /doc/, /science/ and /8lounge/ all in one, when those boards already exist and are well established (well, with the exception of /doc/). Add to that that most of the people who post on 8chan don't seem particularly interested in harnessing the power of the internet for learning new things (hence a board like /edu/ or /lang/ has very low chances to make it to the top 25), and small boards tend to work better if they're niche boards.
