Most of the time it's either mobster jazz, My Morning Jacket, or St. Vincent. Frank Sinatra/Leon Redbone/bar jazz (like in fallout new vegas, not sure what the genre(s) would be called, i think it might be crooner jazz or something like that) are pretty common too. Rush is a fairly rare choice for late at night but it's still pretty great around 2 fucking am. or any time. Rush is awesome.

Occasionally i'll put on a few particular songs from Jekyll & Hyde. but that usually leads to a two-hour youtube hike looking for stage versions i haven't seen yet.

(unrelated, but are there any other anons into musical theater, Jekyll & Hyde specifically

One thing I've always had a love for was the short-lived Vaporwave inspire sounds of Metro-ko. Very catchy, minimalistic tracks, plenty of distortion...

It all just sounds of loneliness and longing when I listen to it inside, but when I'm outside at night it just emphasizes the (relative) peace. Makes me appreciate the moment of solitude.

I like some of the classics as far as musicals are concerned. Its weird, there aren't any musical that I only kind of like. I either love them or never watch them again. I love Jesus Christ Superstar, Phantom of the Opera, Les Mis, Hamilton and Sweeny Todd. That's it, everything else I've listened to or watched I didn't really like

Drank half a bottle of Delsym and Eric Clapton really is doing it for me.

Usually listen to a lot of industrial sort of stuff, trance, neofolk/martial industrial, and just basic rock.
