Ponder the mysteries of the universe.

Read paranormal archives, articles, etc. Biblioteca Pleyades is great for this. I suggest reading about the underground military base near Dulce, New Mexico, then go on youtube and look up a guy named Phil Schneider, and listen to him.

 No.3008

Listen to music and write D&D stores

I'm contemplating the worth of my irl friends. I feel like i should alienate myself from them completely. Bunch of useless leaches.

what do they do?

I have no friends. I have one person from my former school (I almost said "alma mater"!) who consistently texts me on occasion to ask if I'd like to go for a pint, then makes an excuse and doesn't text again for months. I suspect she laughs at me with my other old schoolmates, whose numbers I don't have.

Please don't concentrate on some nebulous measure of the "worth" of your friends. Worth to what? Worth to you? Financial, social, sexual worth? Please don't think like that. For one, it's bigoted, and for another, you should be grateful for friends. Everyone should be grateful for the social circle they have. With no friends, if I didn't have my SO I'd be seriously ill.

Word of advice from somebody who has been there: you never know what you've got, 'till it's gone.

Personally am not upset with my decision, but there were ramifications I hadn't considered. If you are going to end a relationship, it should be because you are inherently dissatisfied with it. Not because a superficial aspect bothers you.

>>3013

This might be hard to believe from your position, but friends are cheap. If you've never had them, they might seem like essential, but in the grand scheme of things it comes down to a cost-benefit analysis for both parties.

I've met dozens of people in my life. Haven't spoken to most of them in years. Makes me appreciate the people I have a more genuine or profound relationship with.

fucking this >>3019

i have two friends who have survived the elimination process where years worth of 'friends' have failed. we have several striking and almost deal-breaking differences, yet we're still very close. i've questioned our friendship before, and as much as it makes sense to occasionally, or when i'm in a particularly anti-social mood, i've never been able to find a good enough reason to end it. ever. in fact, a frequent thing we bring up as a joke is 'we're so different, why are we even friends?'. and none of us can ever come up with a good answer.

yet we've been best friends for many, many years. honestly, you have to really feel it deep before you decide to end a friendship. if they constantly bore/annoy you, you never really want to do stuff with them, and you're uncomfortable or anti-social around them, then sure. they're not worth your time. but if you still feel something for them, actually tell them about this shit. if it continues after that, back out. if you've already tried to get them to understand that you're tired of this shit and it's STILL an issue, end it now.

I'm a long time member of candlepowerforums and edcforums so I like to go outside and 'play' with my flashlights.

They have come a long way from the crappy old mag lights.
