Me too. The lights are killing me, though. Every time I go back to my parents' in the country I'm blown away by the night sky, and its not even that desert.

I can recommend it to everyone. There is no greater feeling than knowing that you're completely alone, besides some critters skittering around here and there.

More on topic, though, I wonder why governments are so stingy about keeping the lights on at the dead of night on side roads and in small towns. There rarely are travelers after 2 am, let alone people in or on a vehicle.

Seems like wasted energy and natural beauty.
