Melatonin before bed (Especially if it's daytime) to regulate that, a stimulant such as caffeine to keep you active, and theanine to relax you on that stimulant to get rid of the wired feeling so you can think straight.
Motivation is a lot tougher though. There are some substances to help, but it's mostly habitual.
