Preferably movies where it's the main subject of the movie, it is studied in some sort of manner.

So movies like Serpico, Training Day, Infernal Affairs - not stuff like the Godfather or Killer Joe. Bonus if it's based on actual history, even loosely like Training Day.

Even stuff like All the President's Men would be appreciated.

I guess it was only a big deal in one of the three parts in Pines.

Serpico and Prince of the City were both directed by Sidney Lumet and take place in NYC but they're pretty different. Serpico is a good cop trying to work within a corrupt system and then take it down. The main guy in Prince is corrupt and is only trying to keep him and his corrupt friends out of trouble when he starts working with internal affairs. I like Serpico but thought Prince was pretty boring, some people like it though.

I've only started to watch a lot of films in the last few years, but I would say I average about 100-150 a year.

I play too much vidya still to clock significantly more than that.

I usually watch over 100 to balance with life, music, television, and reading. I didn't enjoy television and music as much this year so I really binged on watching film and watched over 500.

been a neet for 2 years now and have averaged around 170 i would say. its quite low. i really want to watch more and will probably get on 1 or 2 per day soon. i guess i could blame having deep interest in other parts of the art world, but then again i mostly read about those areas of interest rather than actually involving myself in them so i don't know…

I'm a huge sucker for wide angle stuff personally. Any time Kubrick uses an 18mm or wider is usually goat tier, Wong Kar Wai isn't afraid to go that wide, and even Terry Gilliam (who I imagine some would argue has gone too wide at 14mm) is an enjoyable aesthetic to me.
