Yea I'm personally Pro-LGBT but I'm not a big fan of the "it's natural" arguments. Though sometimes I fall into that trap myself. You can make the argument that greed is also natural. Murder is also natural. Rape is also natural. Just because something is natural doesn't necessarily mean that it is also virtuous.

There's nothing wrong with being homosexual or transgendered. If you like a person of the same sex in a romantic and/or sexual way and they like you back and want to have consensual romantic and sexual relationships with you, I don't see how this hurts anyone. And if you are a biological male who identifies as a female or vice versa, there's nothing wrong with that either. It doesn't hurt anyone.
Considering that pretty much every major religion condemns homosexuality and culture is heavily been influenced by religion, I'd imagine this is probably why there is so much hatred towards gays. Even among people who aren't very religiously, that anti-gay mentality from religion has carried over into their culture. Just like how the Calvinist Work Ethic has carried over into American culture. Even if you're not a religious Evangelical/Calvinist Christian yourself, that Calvinist Work Ethic has already been bred into the culture you were raised in.
I understand that LGBT issues are a significant social wedge issue for a lot of working-class people. A lot of people who may agree with fiscal leftism more than not feel turned off by the left because the modern left is pro-LGBT and they don't have a tolerant view of homosexuals and transsexuals. Because they were raised in a certain culture or they later on adopted a certain hostile attitude towards homosexuals and transsexuals. So yeah while I don't agree with those kind of views, I understand why it's a big roadblock for the left. If a centre-left politician wants to get elected in a conservative-voting rural or suburban area with a pro-LGBT agenda, they may run into issues. If you are gay or trans in rural or suburban Georgia (Atlanta and maybe some other cities there are probably more liberal), then yeah it's going to be a tough ride.
It also doesn't help that SJWs can be very fucking obnoxious and make the LGBT community look bad.
