So… now that the dust has settled.

Was 9/11 an inside job conducted by the CIA? Or was it just coordinated by Saudi billionaires?

I wouldn't go so far as to say that the CIA planned the attack. But I'm gonna guess that they knew about some plan, but let it happen. Of course, not everyone in the Administration/Pentagon/etc was in on it, just some key players who were able to create confusion, like jets being scrambled by NORAD for a drill that involved a scenario where US commercial airliners are hijacked at exactly the same time as the real hijacking was going on. Perhaps they even green lighted the terrorists to come to the US, knowing they are planning an attack, etc.

CIA/whatever doesn't have to be the mastermind, just complicit in it. Much like the NZ and AUS intelligence services warned the US that the Japanese are moving their fleet and planning a big attack. The US moved all its carriers out of Pearl Harbour for a drill (what a lucky coincidence!) and left aging destroyers in the port to be attacked and destroyed. Sea battles between battleships were a thing of the past, new warfare was carriers, bombers, submarines, the US could afford to lose a few ships in Pearl Harbor, it was the carriers the Japanese wanted to destroy.

Reactionaries in burgerland shoot up other burgers daily in the name of saving burgerland. Reactionaries in other countries hating burgerland and committing 9/11 isn't surprise. The U.S. right were already hungry for war and were happy for an excuse for it.

I've been deep in the reactionary rabbit hole and I know this sort of shit is the logical conclusion to reactionary thought. Why do you think the holocaust happened? Why do you think most terrorist acts are committed by reactionaries? Luckily I eventually went left and radically changed my mindset. Don't underestimate the inhumanity reactionaries are willing to commit. They are far worse than you believe.

У данашњој веровали или не рубрици: Srpska Radikalna Stranka (SRS) or Serbian Radical Party, one which brought us such gems as Vučko, Toma and Šeki and played no small part in publicly reviving the Chetnik myth, has been conceived, in it's current iteration (1991-present) as a right "libertarian" party.

Šešelj has as such always been pretty far up Americas colon, in 1990 after Iraq attacked Kuwait, he personally proposed to send a, quote unquote, >corpus of Chetniks to >liberate Kuwait to an unspecified American source. He changed his tune drastically after US decided to support formation of Croatia and BiH instead of (Greater) Serbia during the war and the subsequent bombing of FR Yugoslavia. Pic related, his fat ass pretending to be an anti-globalist across Saddam Hussein in 2001. Chetniks, whether they knew it or not, have always been a tool of foreign imperialism and have licked imperialist boots clean every time.

/str. 36/

Stirner is counterrevolutionary propaganda

>All attempts to enact rational laws about property have put out from the bay of love into a desolate sea of regulations. Even Socialism and Communism cannot be excepted from this. Everyone one is to be provided with adequate means, for which it is little to the point whether one socialistically finds them still in a personal property, or communistically draws them from a community of goods. The individual's mind in this remains the same; it remains a mind of dependence. The distributing board of equity lets me have only what the sense of equity, its loving care for all, prescribes. For me, the individual, there lies no less of a check in collective wealth than in that of individual others; neither that is mind, nor this: whether the wealth belongs to the collectivity, which confers part of it on me, or to individual possessors, is for me the same constraint, as I cannot decide about either of the two. One the Contrary, Communism, by the abolition of all personal property, only presses me back still more into dependence on another, viz., on the generality or collectivity; and, loudly as it always attacks the "State," what it intends is itself again a State, a status, a condition hindering my free movement, a sovereign power over me. Communism rightly revolts against the pressure I experience from individual proprietors; but still more horrible is the might that it puts in the hands of the collectivity. Egoism takes another way to root out the non-possessing rabble. It does not say: Wait for what the board of equity will—bestow on you in the name of the collectivity (for such bestowal took place in "States" from the most ancient times, each receiving "according to his desert," and therefore according to the measure in which each was able to deserve it, to acquire it by service), but: Take hold, and take what you require! With this the war of all against all is declared. I alone decide what I will have.[8]

My dad told me that before a certain TV channel became Current TV, which was Al Gore's TV station, was then bought and became Al Jazeera America, which idk what happened to it after AJA tanked, probably bought by another Al.

But anyway, someone told my dad that before the channel was bought by Al Gore, it was some kind of international news thing where diplomats give hour long reports, not only on local news in their country but on international news from their perspective. 24 hour cycle but each hour is a different diplomat.

Does this still exist in any fashion? Are there any similar streams I can watch where I can get international news from different perspectives?

Fucking kill me. Even the most ambitious push for abating the death of every fish in the ocean is plagued by anti-nuclear spooks. AOC's bill was unveiled today and it specifically says there will be zero investment in new nuclear because it "isn't renewable". While that is true, its also necessary. The claim that it isn't environmentally friendly because of the waste omits that the alternative, massive amounts of batteries for base renewable power, requires ripping up the global south for hazardous material. It's not much better, and real people are going to be getting cancer and dying from it in real time, they just happen to all be from places like Africa! To contrast, the hazard of nuclear waste is VERY MANAGEABLE if the political will is there to do it.

Nuclear might even qualify as renewable if we get filter uranium from the oceans, something that's already been done on small scales: https://www.newsdeeply.com/oceans/articles/2018/06/28/the-nuclear-option-technology-to-extract-uranium-from-the-sea-advances

And the article at https://cna.ca/news/theres-uranium-seawater-renewable/ mentions uranium is continually leaking into the ocean from uranium-containing rocks, and quotes a scientist saying "it is impossible for humans to extract enough uranium to lower the overall seawater concentrations faster than it is replenished."

That second article also mentions that even though the cost of getting a given amount of uranium from seawater is currently a lot more than the cost of mining it, "the cost of uranium is a very small percentage of the cost of nuclear power. Therefore even at $200/lb, the cost of nuclear power would not increase dramatically."

I have seen alot of the mainstream media do thins like criticise wars, criticise money in politics, side with social democrats sometimes, talk about corruption in certain businesses, promote certain reforms etc

now obviously I know that social democracy is not the establishnment and i know that the mainstream media does criticise social democrats quite alot like CNN and MSNBC. but its still confusing. I know social democracy is just welfare and reform and not the actual socialism that i want. But it is still confusing why so much pro worker and anti corporation stuff is in the liberal media. Can someone explain why sections of the ruling class would work against their own profit making interests like this?

this is debatable, we do not have social democracy in the US however that is the trend in other areas of the developed world and there is a growing sentiment for socdem in the US. The media sees this and is capitalizing on it just as the republican news media is capitalizing on the horrors of Venezuelan style "socialism"

>But it is still confusing why so much pro worker and anti corporation stuff is in the liberal media

Mcdonalds employes making $15/hr isn't "pro worker" at all.

Tbh people need to understand that ideology under capitalism doesn’t operate as this intentionally engineered thing disseminated consciously through mediums like news media. Rather it’s simply a lens through which people observe the world, which colours their view of it and biases it towards liberalism. So when some random CNN reporter says some socdem shit, or even when a billionaire says it, it’s usually not a secret plan to pacify the proles. 9 times out of 10 it’s just what they actually think, because they do perceive issues with he status quo and want to see “ethical” capitalism. Ideology doesn’t turn everybody into a hardcore neolib, but it does limit their concept of what’s possible to the liberal spectrum.

Doesn't this concept directly contradict the goals of communism (uniting the world under proletarian rule)? Why should communists value arbitrary borders and "independent self rule" of different nations? Doesn't this just open opportunity for infighting and sabotage?

Look at Hoxha vs Mao vs USSR vs Tito for example.

Look at how Yugoslavia fell apart. I doubt things would have went as terribly if Tito was more ruthless towards eradicating ethnic nationalism.

Do White people have the right to self determination?

 No.2814566

> The proletariat cannot but fight against the forcible retention of the oppressed nations within the boundaries of a given state, and this is exactly what the struggle for the right of self-determination means. The proletariat must demand the right of political secession for the colonies and for the nations that “its own” nation oppresses. Unless it does this, proletarian internationalism will remain a meaningless phrase; mutual confidence and class solidarity between the workers of the oppressing and oppressed nations will be impossible; the hypocrisy of the reformist and Kautskyan advocates of self-determination who maintain silence about the nations which are oppressed by “their” nation and forcibly retained within “their” state will remain unexposed.

Basically, what Lenin is saying is that the right to self determination is necessary because solidarity between the oppressed and the oppressor is impossible. It is only when nations are on "equal ground" that they can band together in reality. You might object and say that the very idea of the nation is simply an abstraction and should be abolished. While the state is an abstraction, it is an abstraction that emerges out of real material conditions, and cannot disappear until those material conditions have been completely changed. So in the dictatorship of the proletariat, in order to promote the general unity between proletarians, one must ensure that the proletarians belonging to an oppressed nation do not feel like they are having a new system being forced upon them from the outside. They must feel it as their own choice, their own freedom. It is only through this process that national divisions can eventually be broken down.
