Abso-fuckin-lutely. Kojima-sensei was my leftist senpai–ever since I first played MGS1 on PlayStation when I was a wee lad. I wasn't aware of the education I was receiving through the games when I was younger, though. Now that I've played through MGSV and I've been replaying the previous ones, I realize how elaborate and profound of a story it is. Metal Gear Solid is one of the greatest games ever created.

He probably is, but your opinion on him would really hinge on whether you think leftism can exist in post-structuralism and post-modernism. The fact that everything in MGSV ends up hinging on language definitely puts it in that zone, alongside the more evidently left-wing MGS2.
