The problem is not that we're running a poll. The problem is that, in the modern day, there is large amounts of continuity between Marxist and anarchist / libertarian socialist theory. By making the dichotomy of "Marxism or Anarchism," you create a situation where you're not properly gauging the actual political leanings of people. You'd be better off directing polls more towards the style of government/organization/economy that people support, then interpreting where that leaves people ideologically. Oversimplified polls like this only serve to reinforce notions of one group or another claiming "this is my board, everyone who disagrees is in the minority and should leave."
