as I live in Germany, most discussions with right-wingers boil down to their "patriotism".

What are >convincing< arguments against patriotism? How can/would you, should one get into a humane discussion with one of those nobheads, twist their minds?

At risk of sounding incredibly edgy, I'm afraid most "patriots" are usually too stupid or classcucked to ever see the light. Or at least any light that isn't the light they'll see after they get their brains perforated against a wall. You can try reasoning with them one by one by making them doubt their spooks but the effort is usually futile. And with "stupid" I don't mean actually stupid as in too dumb to solve a jigsaw puzzle (ironically, many Nazi scientists were really intelligent); I mean stupid as in having the spooks completely locked into their heads to the point of no repair. These are the people that'll join the fascists on the day of the revolution. It's dialectically predestined for them to.
