Well firstly, anarchist state is a contradiction.
Secondly, there are no anarchist states that have really survived without some form of executive (at which point I think it's strained to call it anarchism in any case)
I find the position increasingly difficult to defend, if I'm being honest. Zizek brought up some good points.
People don't really have the time nor energy to be politically active all the time. It's harder to get things done, far more inefficient.
On the other hand more localised democracy is good because people usually know what is best for their area in particular.
I think maybe we shouldn't do away with the state altogether, but certainly decrease its power and put more power in the hands of local federations.
