Relax, have a drink, the robots will take care of everything.
If what you want to talk about doesn't deserve its own thread, put it here.
Do you watch digibro? He made a video about how paying for anime doesn't actually support the workers, and the top comment is essentially 'no ethical consumption under capitalism'.
Nice. Always weird getting into arguments with crunchyroll fans offended at my non-paying ass.
Eh, if they're gonna be that adamant about throwing their money away then let em do it I say.
>want a beer but already had soda and a cheeseburger today and I don't want to get fat
Ugh. Good video, at least.
Try mixing the beer with an energy drink? That way you can exercise off the fat.
What's your job, and why is it not Forest NEET?
Unemployed and living in the woods so I guess I'm a forest NEET.
Obviously this was made basically as a joke, but is it accurate to some extent?
Are weebs more likely to hold more extreme or unusual political positions, and if so, why would this be? Would the mere fact we're into anime suggest we have a proclivity to try things regardless of mainstream cultural relevance (openness to experience?) and would this predispose us to investigating political ideas outwith the overton window, or is it just because people who watch a lot of anime are almost certainly people who spend a lot of time online which tends to make people's views more extreme?
>but is it accurate to some extent?
Maybe if you think just watching anime makes you a ``weeaboo'', and even then all my years on the Internet tell me most people that watch anime are around the center.
Sorry for conflating terms. I guess my question was whether weebs (or at least people who watch a great deal of anime) are more likely to find themselves with more extreme political opinions than non-weebs/causal anime watchers.
I don't think so. Most people I knew on /a/ and anime forums were apolitical or liberal. I knew one commie, but that wasn't the norm for me.
No need to apologize, I wasn't attacking you.
I need to start using "one" instead of "you" more often…
I watched anime and was nonpolitical for years before I was radicalized
>"In communism you have to wait 10 years for a car, even if you've already paid for it"
Why do we fucking bother, /leftyweebpol/?
>paid for it
Because not only do we know better, we know the necessity of Communism.
God made gulags for a reason.
Uhh yea, didnt u know that communism is where everyone gets paid the same u baka?
It's people like those posting on this board who keep me motivated in pursuing my passion and keep on living. Even if your life doesn't seem very meaningful right now, I hope that's something you can find solace in. Thank you.
Forests have coyotes where I live and they would eat my shivering doughboy ass
Rude, I'm a filthy socdem and I watch animays
Not really. I'm a Liberal and I love anime.
>I'm a liberal
This is a leftist board buddy.
i know, i enjoy visiting in much the same way one would a zoo.
Liberals confirmed enemies of the left once again. You're going against the wall though, don't worry.
I was kidding mate, i actually respect leftists as opponents because, well, i need them. They're the best critics of my ideology there are, and I use that criticism to understand what it is I need to adjust and fix. There are fundamental philosophical issues that we disagree on, I don't think wage labor is inherently exploitation and anyone who does is overestimating the value of labor, for example. But socialist critique has molded a lot of my theories on welfare measures, regulation, and anti-plutocracy measures, which when put into practice have proven to be very effective at mitigating the practical problems that leftists criticize liberalism for. Socialism was the best thing to happen to liberalism since Benjamin Franklin.
your not mine. you do not represent me comrade.
Not bad. Not bad at all.
I want to play online vidya but my hardware stopped being good in 2010 and since I'm poor, my battlestation is pretty small so on first person games to do a full turn I have to lift my mouse once each time. Also, my connection sucks ass so I always get a high ping.
Going to try getting a job this summer so I can get enough money to buy a new computer, hopefully.
you have to get a job slave on it at least a year then go back to being a neet
Finally got a line on a fucking job (hopefully)
Even if it doesn't pan out it's the closest I've come to semi-permanent employment that I want in two months
I'm not a NEET, thankfully. I'm just a bit busy with university, that's why I can't get a job at the moment.
Worst thing is cryptomining nerds causing the prices of all hardware inflate. Fucking bastards.
>creating an inherently deflationary currency will be a great idea that won't cause a gold rush, hoarding and rampant speculation *at all*
fuck the silicon valley mindset
no fucking way bitcoins aren't crashing soon
Right wing music is, uh…
They really made an effort you guys. (on hooktube cause this shit is monetized)
I check this board at least once a day.
So some faggots pretending to have permission from Kikiyama retranslated Yume Nikki and put it on steam.
No one is questioning this. A company ha been fucking over Kikiyama for years making fake products and claiming they're official so I get that someone would make a fake re-release, but how did they convince Steam? Or does Steam just not care?
What about Kadokawa? They are planning some new Yume Nikki game.
Its, ah, not great.
I recall that Kikiyama let Playism distribute the Japanese version of Yume Nikki a while back, but their page doesn't seem to be up anymore.
