I guess this ban was about my harsh words about Christoper Cuntwell. Fuck me, I wasn't even trying that hard. As far as I can tell, Cuntwell is high on nootropics and STILL unable to come up with anything worthwhile. Seriously, I have yet to hear a single word from him that was not preaching to the choir or just being as fanatical as possible. So apparently, he's not that smart or creative. He's not very charismatic, either. He's pulling the angry-guy-shtick that we all know so well from Video Game Reviewers, and this shouldn't impress anyone anymore. He's also fat, an alcoholic and doesn't seem to exercise. He made a blog post on how he's going to live healthier in the future, and yet, almost a year later, he still looks the fucking same and has yet to write the second part of that blog post.
So, what has this guy going for himself? I guess his zero-tolerance bullshit can be beneficial to the movement, once in a while. Sometimes, you need someone who decries everyone and everything. There's a reason why holocaust scholars - and I do mean actual scholars - appreciate the efforts of holocaust deniers: They point out flaws in their theories, and likewise, Cantwell may point out flaws in the thinking of fellow ancaps, simply because he's hypersensitive to them.
However, I doubt many people watch him for this reason. In any movement, someone is always trying to be the extremist who's more dedicated and consistent in his thinking than his fellow comrades/brothers/buddies/whatever. I think that Cantwell is preaching to these guys, the fanatics who are actively trying to get pissed off and have little interest in actually advancing their movement, or finding flaws within it. If anybody wants to prove me wrong, go ahead. I'd actually appreciate that. As much as I dislike Cantwell - and I doubt this will change - I'd like to know if he had written something worth reading, or, I don't know, helped a cat mother give birth.
