Some unionized tradesmen are actually public sector workers. Or doing contracts for the public sector.
When Saskatchewan (Canadian province) introduced socialized medicine in the 60s, the doctors threatened to "strike". But then the doctors eventually gave in to the demands of the government. And now you see socialized medicine in many parts of the world.
It's easy how to determine price. If doctors, nurses, trade workers, etc. want to leave the country, then the price you pay for their labour is too low.

Exactly. The libertarians/ancaps are cool with porky profiting off the backs of the workers…. This is why I can't take their demonization of people on welfare seriously. Porky is making millions and billions in surplus value. Not thousands like a welfare recipient.
