This might be true. There's a tendency with leftists to be incredibly moralistic about things. It partially explains the hate speech laws SJW champion, how they personalise politics and the excesses taken by leftist revolutionaries in dealing with dissent. Leftists often feel more strongly about they believe that other groups do. This fosters moral bigotry which in turn explains what's happening on 8chan (our leftism justifies our underhanded propaganda techniques).

That's not to say there aren't genuinely pluralistic lefties out there, tolerance is a left wing principle after all, just fewer than there once was.

fwiw NatSocs don't obsess over "racial struggle", they don't even have a "main struggle". The reason leftists obsess over conflict and class is because of dialectical materialism. Commies think most if not all of human history can be explained by class relations and people's relationship to capital. Wars, gender roles, religions, feudalism, capitalism, serfdom, everything is a conflict between two social forces vying over capital. To quote marxists.org, "the materialist dialectic is the theoretical foundation of Marxism". This sociology or conception of history is uniquely Marxist, but they would impute this mental disease onto others. Normal ideologies don't already contain a theory on human history and Nazism certainly doesn't.

When Marxists took over the humanities and social sciences in 60s and 70s, they passed this obsession onto black activists, feminists, anti-war campaigners and others. This "Cultural Marxism" spawned the same people the twits on /leftypol/ routinely attack for being too obsessed with conflicts other than class. Conflict theory is the fucking foundation of identity politics and SJWism. They forget that the real and mobilised far-left is openly married to the church of social justice. All of it comes down to that bastard philosopher and his associates. The smarter Marxists on /leftypol/ know this of course but they practice the same dishonest game on their own. They play identity politics away from, say, #BlackLivesMatter and towards anti-immigrant populism.
