>Das Kapital manga

Sounds awesome tbh fam

>>14672

I've just done Thomas Sowell's Basic Economics, coupled with his Economic Facts and Fallacies. Henry Hazlit's Economics in One Lesson is breddy gud for intro stuff (http://fee.org/resources/economics-in-one-lesson-pdf-doc-audio/) as well as reading Bastiat (of which I recommend The Law and several of his stuff on economic fallacies: http://oll.libertyfund.org/people/frederic-bastiat). Hazlit may be an Austrian, but he's no Mises or Rothbard and very much closer to old-school mainstream econ.

>the Vagina Ass of Lucifer Niggerbastard

kek

I made it 15 pages and stopped, it's a doozy of a read.

>The Law

>The Anti-Capitalistic Mentality

As for my own list for the last year:

Books:

>American Nations by Colin Woodard

>Vision of the Anointed by Thomas Sowell

>Economic Facts & Fallacies by Thomas Sowell

>Inventing Freedom by Daniel Hannan

>The New Road to Serfdom by Daniel Hannan

>Economics in One Lesson by Henry Hazlit

>The Anti-Capitalistic Mentality by Ludvig von Mises

>The Law by Frederic Bastiat

>Bernie Sanders is Wrong by Tom Woods

>Travels in Siberia by Ian Frazier for nostalgia

>probably a few more I can't remember

Audio/books:

>Theory & History by Ludvig von Mises

>Episodes 1-105 of the Russian Rulers History Podcast

Full of hilarious tidbits like Catherine the Great writing in her diary how she "rode her pillow like a bucking stallion" until she was satisfied and how her old husband, the actual tsar, was an autist who'd play toy soldiers in their bed rather than fuck her brains out like she wanted him to

>Organized Crime: The Unvarnished Truth About Government by Thomas J. "Let Me Tell You About How Much I Hate Lincoln" DiLorenzo

You can tell the guy's a Lincoln scholar who came to gradually hate what he studied but can't help but throw it into whatever project he's doing next.

Fug, I need to do better next year.

You're just mad Mises is stylin' on you. Step up your shitposting skills and you too could write a book like that fam.

>>14698

Podcasts and iTunesU lectures man. Just listen to them during downtime. Showering, cooking, commuting, anytime you're just doing something boring you may as well listen to one. Mises Institute's got some good audiobooks too.

>>14699

Seconding this, attached the condensed Wealth of Nations for you guys to use. It's a great read.

I probably have the pdfs for all of those

god fucking damn

 No.14706

File: 1451526506716.pdf (1.27 MB, The Sovereign Individual.pdf)

Discovered libertarianism this year. These books have changed me a lot. Specially the first one.

+The Sovereign Individual

+The Virtue of selfishness

+The Law (Bastiát)

+The Anticapitalistic mentality

+Economics in one lesson

And some others I don't remember right now. The Sovereign Individual is the most /liberty/ book I've read to this day. Check the pdf, guys.

These must be very few and the very typical first ones, but I didn't have to much willpower to force myself read since chans are too much of an easy distraction. Also reading in a brightscreen is painful.

Want something short that sets out absolute basics? Economics In One Lesson by Henry Hazlitt. Other than that:

Basic Economics by Thomas Sowell

Man, Economy and State + Power and Market by Murray Rothbard

Human Action by Ludwig von Mises
