You wake up and there are no banks, you have the opportunity to make your own bank, what are going to be your policies?

 No.15434

Don't accept bailouts from the government. And stay the hell away from government-created bubbles.

 No.15454

Use the money to fund Rojava

I'll just keep trading with the old currency and set up a new old bank where the old bank was.

 No.15496

>>15434

Pretty much this.

I'll trade in multiple currencies (probably BitCoin, Silver, and Credit), use fractional reserve banking responsibly (E.G. not lending out everything I own), and if I grow bigger than a certain region, I'd put a new executive in charge of half the region with the stipulation that I can make changes if necessary (and proceed to leave him the fuck alone so long as the revenue streams ain't wonky).

 No.15531

You pay me a flat fee based on how much of your money I have to store. You accrue no interest and your money isn't touched.

 No.15534

So you're dealing in safety deposit boxes, not banking.

A bank's primary job is loaning money with the intent of getting larger returns in order to loan even more money down the line. You didn't think a bank's primary job was storing your cash, did you?

>So you're dealing in safety deposit boxes, not banking.

I guess.

 No.15584

Why is the interest rates on savings accounts less than CPI? Why is the interest rate on CDs less than real inflation?

 No.15604

>>15428

I don't have the capital to start giving people loans.

Assuming I somehow did? Same shit most banks do, except that my loan process is more personal, with proper face-to-face transactions rather than over the phone, or worse, credit cards.

 No.15621

Gold standard

No interest

Whites only.
