Who do you consider more libertarian and why? If it came down to it, who would you vote for?

 No.16276

>>16269

Probably Trumpo. If we can't have liberty we might as well purge the leftists.

 No.16278

Between a corporate shill and an establishment politician? Neither are very Libertarian at all. The Trumprats are mildly more Libertarian because about a tenth of them understand economics, but that's not saying very much.

>And if it came down to it, who would you vote for?

Vermin Supreme.

Read up on public choice theory if you actually believe in democracy, lol.

>le collectivist skin-changer is better

fuck no

The guy did a complete 180 in his personality for the election. He's just another jelly socialist and ahem a literal jew.

One of his many, intentional, and bs sessions, on public healthcare. This was before 2010.

(embed)

His whole persona, everything is fabricated for the election. Right from the bs speeches and the "muh meek common man without le money" acting to his cucked hair.

I'm voting for Cruz, but if it came down to Hillary/Sanders vs Trump, I'd go for Trump.

>Who do you consider more libertarian and why?

Neither. They're both sleazy demagogues targeting the absolute worst parts of their respective parties. The only meaningful difference between the two is which end of the political spectrum their authoritarian bullshit falls on.

>If it came down to it, who would you vote for?

Trump. His brand of crazy is more immediately obvious to the average person, and so I really doubt that any of his wackier ideas would make it through. Sanders, on the other hand, is part of a growing sentiment in the US that socialism is in any way viable, and that's something I'd really like to see stamped out before it's too late. I'd say he's a symptom of a much larger problem, but he also seems to be actively making it worse. Trumps still concerns me a great deal, of course, but in the long term, I would say President Sanders would do far more lasting damage than President Trump.

The question boils down to if you'd rather have another Bush or another Obama.

And it is a hard question indeed.

 No.17660

>>17643

Trump's military policy makes far more sense than that of Bush. Or Obama, for that matter.

 No.17661

Bernie could significantly reduce military spending, weed legalisation, certain big areas of spending, reducing Crony Capitalism influence. Trump is the perfect example of crony capitalism, he bought the election. Bernie at least has some sense of integrity, and getting money out of politics / his opposition to the two party system could give a major chance for mainstream libertarianism. He could also purge all of us tho so

>Trump's military policy makes far more sense than that of Bush. Or Obama, for that matter.

Yep, its basically "let Russia deal with it"

Another Bush, easy.

>The question boils down to if you'd rather have another Bush or another Obama.

What? What's the difference? Name one substantive policy difference, not based on what was sold to the citizens, but based on what actually transpired.

 No.17683

>>17669

George Bush didn't socialize healthcare.

 No.17687

>>16269

Absolutely Trump. They mostly agree on isolationism so I'll compare domestic policy.

Sanders is a literal socialist, he admits it, he's a kike who wants to turn America into China or Cuba or the Soviet Union. Sure he has good intentions but who gives a fuck.

Trump, on the other hand, while not a libertarian, wants to reduce taxes and support gun owners. He might be a little bit protectionist but he supports Americans helping each other rather than just feeding the government machine.

 No.17719

>>17687

I find it hard to believe that anyone on this board actually says that sanders is at all closer to liberalism than trump.

Do they not understand that shitskins will always vote for more government?

 No.17727

>a literal Jew

Cruz's ENTIRE advisory team are Jews.

 No.17739

The uncomfortable truth is that the vast majority of migrants don't share American values such as free speech, gun rights, small government, etc. Second and third generation immigrants aren't much better. This is a verifiable fact.

Migrants vote for big government and amnesty isn't going to magically turn them into libertarians.

If we are going to have any hope ANY HOPE of preserving our liberties we absolutely must shut down mass immigration of peoples who don't share our values. That trumps all other issues. Imagine if we voted in a libertarian government and they opened the borders completely because borders are an evil government function. Four years later we would be flooded with a billion socialist migrants and that election cycle they would vote in the biggest most oppressive most socialist government the United States has ever seen.

Without borders any talk about liberties is nothing but masturbation.

>Trump is the perfect example of crony capitalism, he bought the election

With what money? He's spent almost nothing. It's the fact that he's said what so many Americans think but the media is shocked by that's gotten him so much support.

Yeah, Ted Cruz breaks new grounds in cuckoldry for Israel. He couldn't even shut up about his love for Israel among a crowd of Middle Eastern Christians, many of whom have suffered immensely from the actions of Israel.
