Need to rant. Just got a tax bill for 2013 that says I owe $5,000. Guess what I was unemployed that year because the company went under after the CEO stole millions of dollars and bailed (which he never went to jail for btw even though he was caught red handed). All of my "income" for 2013 was selling my possessions and moving all my money from foreign bank accounts (and closing them) since I worked abroad. Plus a loan from relatives. I don't have $5,000. How could I?

I should just kill myself. It's that or go to jail. Fuck the system. FML.

How can you be liable for taxes while being recognised as unemployed?

Selling your private possessions is not a taxable income unless there were capital gains or you were selling commercially. How much did you sell/make for the IRS to think of it as an income?

If you're feeling suicidal because of money problems, make a youtube partnership channel of you jumping stupid shit with a motorcycle, or if you're really poor use a bike.

Okay, but on a more serious note, if you're unemployed, have time, and don't think you can get employed, first of all: still send out applications if you're remotely employable.

Secondly: Craigslist. If you can buy low and sell high, you're well on your way to making shekels. You also need to git gud with presentation, when you're taking pictures of shit, make the pictures well/lit and pretty, it makes you look more reputable and it makes the product more "official."

You do need storage and a camera and some kind of transportation (maybe a bike would work, but not ideal) to do the craigslist shit.

Oh, yeah, you can sell your blood "donations", too. Drink lots of water and make sure you get enough iron in your diet. Look up iron rich foods. If you're a fag, aka had sexual contact with people of your sex, you can't donate blood. At least, you're not supposed to.

If you have a car and a license, and you might not, Uber is an option.
