Apparently pointing out the obvious about the American president's inability to override Congress and half a million unelected bureaucrats resulted in a seven day ban on /pol/. I found this board after searching for an alternative.

Either way, I'm glad to have found this place and will contribute where I can.

Just in time mate, there's been a lot more activity here lately. Welcome.

Not that I'm surprised, /pol/'s lost. RIP in piece. But can I have the context of that conversation?

Of course. I started a thread saying that with all due respect, Mr. Trump is only going to forestall the inevitable if he gets in to office. I then predicted a drop in the median standard of living to levels seen in the Mexico or the Philippines, and that one should either

A - acquire skills and emigrate to a more stable country, or

B - become self-sufficient in the United States

East coast might look like Mexico, same with California, but the mainland USA is actually relatively self-sufficient/self-sustained. I don't expect an economic collapse like that- more like a collapse of non-essentials such as nice cars.

You'll probably see tight-knit communities like you saw during the great depression, and probably a mass migration to states like North Dakota which are economic power houses.

Being an electrical worker, my future is a bit unstable… Yes, there will always be work, but depending on what happens my wages might drop to EMT levels, making it more profitable to run a moving company or drive trucks.

I got banned for 4 weeks from /pol/ for calling out the way everyone is on red alert for shills to the point that it has ruined the board(and they deleted my comment), /pol/ is a natsoc hugbox now. Not the ones I like either, the muh rope day larping overly hostile retarded ones.
