What do you think about people who try to lean on shows to depict faggots or negroids better and things like that?

Personally I think they should just buy it or not buy it and that will find out what people really feel/demand instead of how they want to virtue signal or protest to make a silly political point.

This isn't really a question about libertarianism in politics but instead culture

I'm not really sure what you're trying to ask.

Yeah, seconding this.

He's talking about subversion in the media. He's probably from /pol/

I do agree that the media is pretty awful nowadays. Here in Australia we have government-funded television programs that are very left wing but pretend to be unbiased

I'm asking whether you think people should try to pressure media firms into doing what they want- like maybe becoming more diversified- or just buy it / not buy it and be done

There's nothing that isn't libertarian about but I think campaigns like that will usually result in fewer people getting what they want compared to if media just reflected demand

Depends on what they want.

Does it though???

But surely producers should serve the market, not pressure groups?

(Unless there are negative externalities but it's hard to measure those and they're likely to overestimated by people who want them to be real)
