Hi, /liberty/. I'm a free-market anarchist, and one of my best friends is a dirty commie and feminist. Does anybody have any suggestions of how I can redpill her? What I can say is that she is still a big fan of rationality and intellectual discourse. It's like a bastion of dirty
Also, general redpilling-thread. How did you get redpilled, and how did you redpill others?

Real advice
If you can't even sway a chick to your point of view, you probably either don't know your shit, or you're socially retarded.
Give her a rough, dominant dicking. Choke her, call her a whore, smack her ass, and make her lick your cock clean when you're done. Feminists love that. After she falls in love with you, it's easy to make her agree with just about any political opinion you have.

Gamergate posts. No, really, they have some of the best anti-feminist ammunition I've ever seen. They'll usually flip their fucking lid and call you a woman-hater. But keep it up. Enough slow pokes puts holes in their bullshit.
My wife was a rabid anti-gunner, and me and hard constitutionalist. 4 years of /k/ posting and collecting guns as well as libertarian red-pilling turned her around to where she comes shooting with me. It mostly starts with asking the following questions:
>Do you own your life?
>Do you own your liberty and labour? If not, does someone else own your liberty, and thus life?
>Do you own your property? Does another person have the right to take your shit from you?
Unless she's really deep in the red zone, she's likely still got a capitialist instinct of keeping her money/property hers, and will attempt mental gymnastics to justify why she's entitled to your money. Enjoy watching those gears grind, btw.

For starters, where has the demsoc gone? Where is the guy with the Jolly Roger? Why doesn't the communist post more often? That's at least three socialist posters, and not one of them stuck around. If they all had, this board would not have turned out to be a "libertarian hugbox". We also had a fascist once. Where is he now? I really can't blame ourselves for being a "hugbox" when a new asshole comes in once or twice a week, starts a thread on how we will prevent monopolies or racemixing in a free market and then leaves within a day or two.

OP here. Not sure whether I'll stay friends with the girl. A personal matter. She broke the heart of one of my friends. I could look over that.. Breakups happen. What I'm not sure I can deal with is how she has apparently been bullshitting me all this time about their first relationship (normie drama at its finest). She broke up with him the first time because she was depressed, she said, and because he was "clingy". Now she wasn't depressed, and he wasn't clingy, he was rather aloof in fact, and yet she broke up again. This makes me question her entire narrative of the first breakup.
TL;DR marxist-feminists again prove unable to have a functional relationship. What a twist.
>>8735
Not really. Don't want to turn her into a centrist, although I'd prefer that over a commie.

I'm a free-market libertarian by virtue of the simple belief in human rights, and that you shouldn't force people to do shit if they aren't directly hurting anyone.
So, for me, I'd be trying to get her on what human rights are.
Why shouldn't people be allowed to trade amongst themselves freely?
Why should females be treated better than their male counterparts just to get by physical limitations?

This is how you would argue with a normal person, but leftists don't seem to work like that, I'm afraid. Seriously, Ayn Rand nailed it in Atlas Shrugged. Leftists like to follow consequentialist ethical systems, whereas they regard notions like justice as "impractical" or "utopian". Social justice is their way of telling themselves they are really just following a deontological morality. That could open a few possibilities, though.

If that is the case (and it's a pretty big assumption), you just need to point out that their methods don't work. There are a great many examples throughout history of free markets outshining government intervention in just about every single industry, whereas communism hasn't produced a single success.
I mean, I'm a very strong proponent of personal liberties just from a moral standpoint, but at the end of the day, I support libertarianism so strongly because I believe that it will create the highest overall quality of life for the most people, and all the evidence I've seen has supported that belief. I think it works.
I've found people are fairly receptive to that line of thinking unless they've been 100% drowned in one brand of Kool-Aid or another: On a fundamental level, they're supporting what they think will work best. So when talking to a leftist, I first establish what their actual goal is in supporting those policies (almost without fail, they support welfare because they want to help the poor, socialized health care because they don't want people dying in the streets, etc.), then go about showing them exactly why and how those policies have proven themselves counter-productive.
If I manage to convince them that free markets are just plain old more efficient and have way more effective mechanisms for dealing with those issues, then I'll get into the ethics of it. At least, that's the method that's yielded the most success for me, personally.

OP here, blatantly necroposting.
Me and my friend stopped talking a few months ago. She and another friend of mine got back together, after they had a relationship years ago. According to her, though, that was so they could end things on better terms, or something. Except they went swimming; you don't go swimming together with a person you're not into. I know this because my gymbro told me; I never got to hear her side of the story, as she never told me and soon after stopped messaging me. We fell out of contact years ago, also due to drama that I was only peripherally involved with, and frankly, I'm done running after her.
I'm especially done with it because I've heard some nice bits about her past that make me see her in a new light. Apparently, she's always been misanthropic, pretentious, edgy and opposed to people having fun in any way she didn't approve of. In short, perfect material for SJW'ism.
No.14633
she needs a stable relationship and I suspect her family is a broken one too
leftism mostly comes from lack of family love, so people revert to demanding the state to provide that
No.14635

>she needs a stable relationship
She has no one to blame but herself. The friend I mentioned, my gymbro? He was too clingy for her, mere weeks into the relationship. If your partner can be too clingy during the first fucking weeks, during a time when normal people text each other for hours AFTER the date, then he's not the problem, you are. Funny thing is, half of OkCupid doesn't want to be messaged daily. What a twist.
>and I suspect her family is a broken one too
She doesn't like most of her family, hasn't seen her father in years, apparently has a very good relationship with her mother, but not enough to compensate for the fact that she has somehow managed to alienate two-thirds of her friends within months.

Free market anarchist here. I've been dating a girl for the past year now. When we started dating she turned out to a Hillary-supporting democrat. Still, I didn't mind. She's extremely intelligent an our common interest was our field of science that we study. I figured she just never put much thought into pollitics.
The summer goes by and she goes off to intern for a small, family-owned greenhouse operation. The managers (husband and wife) were /liberty/ as fuck and gave her a copy of The Law by Bastiat and Economics in One Lesson by Henry Hazlitt. After her first paycheck, she realized how much money she was robbed off from taxes. That sealed the deal.
Fast-forward to today, we agree on 95% of things, advocating free markets, competition, and only voluntary forms of cooperative/social(ist) assocation. We got drunk and read the Communist Manifesto for laughs once. I would consider her minarchist at this point. Fine by me.
No.14970

How the fuck can you still be in the dating-stage, not the relationship-stage yet?
Anyway, glad it turned out that way. I think some people are naturally drawn towards libertarianism, others towards leftism. I believe leftists are generally misanthropic, judgemental and have no belief in their own capabilities, or that of their peers. Then there are the people who just never heard of anything but leftism and crazy neoconservativism, who can reconcile libertarianism with their values once they stop being afraid of it.
