All I can tell you is that I read Diamond Age which is another by him and it was really good. Would recommend author.

I loved the first half but I've tried to finish it about five times and can't quite seem to get all the way through it.

I love his writing though. I'm more than halfway through seveneves right now and loving the hell out of it.

Has anyone read Anathem? Thinking about trying it. I like fiction with alternate worlds/histories.
