actually it might take a little more than that since i found out that the copy i had has a very old and kind of bad translation.

i'm considering dropping it.

but if the book is going where i think it's going it's a big load of bullshit.

In all honesty, I'd have to say Percival the choir boy was the one who lost the most out of everyone on the whole island. He essentially wiped his entire memory clean and instead of ending up dead or a savage, he ended up as an invalid incapable of anything but basic speech and frantic movements.
