What are some books which heavily empathise human senses other than sight and hearing, ideally ones other than the five, such as the senses of temperature, time, or balance?

the dune series, especially later on gets quite trippy when it comes to describing prescience and genetic memory.

but beside that i don't think there are many books about it.

but rather books with pieces like that.

is pic related up your alley?

i remember it well because i had a diamond boner when i read it.

eh, the translation was better.

and you are the only one feeling embarassed.

if i had to feel embarassed for the silly things i did when i was 14, i'd never get out of the house.

>books about it

They don't have to be about it, but at least feature it significantly. I'll take memorable scenes and short stories if you have them.

>pic related

>She moved like a great lovely cat

>Her voice purred low and deep

>a small cat smile of triumph

Obviously satire.

The stuff on 301-303, 4th edition? It's a good list of how different transhumans/aliens/robots can be. But on the topic, computers running at different speeds are interesting too.
