Welcome to /logcabin/

/logcabin/ is a General for interaction between homosexual males. Conversation is not limited to politics.

BO and board have no affiliation with Log Cabin Republican™. But he doesn't mind using their established name. :^)

Current Rules:

1. Follow the Global Rule.

https://8ch.net/faq.html

2. No spamming.

3. This board is nsfw, but please consider dumping porn in a more appropriate location.

>>>/hm/ >>>/him/ >>>/gachi/ >>>/bara/ >>>/gdj/ >>>/shota/ >>>/y/ >>>/gaysex/

4. Go be a faggot somewhere else.

>>>/cuteboys/ >>>/lh/ >>>/lgbt/

I am convinced that the alt-right, /pol/acks, or whatever you want to call it has a growing homosexual userbase. My intention for this board is to create a fun and informative area for congregation of these types. Activity is appreciated including but not limited to shitposts, bait, and threads copied from other forums.

Suggestions, comments, concerns? Fire away. I am chill and open to improvement.

You can monitor my behavior here: https://8ch.net/log.php?page=1&board=Post too long. Click here to view the full text.

Paid ad at the bottom. Those are screenshots of the results. I gave Jim a few shekels to have a question I've been pondering for months answered: What numbers are interested in a board like this? Stupid, I know, because adblocking options are common practice.

I have just enough vouchers left to universal nuke the boards with two guys kissing as a samson option.

Saw this on /pol/, apparently the (UK) National Union of Students' LGBT campaign passed a motion calling for the abolition of representatives for gay men, because they don't face oppression anymore.

"Cis gay men" are guilty of "racism, biphobia, transphobia, and misogyny." So despite evidence suggesting gay men are more likely to face violence because of their sexual orientation, and are disproportionately affected by HIV, the passed resolution calls for the cessation of the gay male rep in university LGBT groups.

Pretty funny, I think this LGBT movement is beginning to eat itself alive. Next, they're going to suggest gays are islamophobic for not liking muslims, y'know, despite muslim countries executing gays and killing them even when abroad.

I think that it's more of an issue of trust. Gays aren't trusted by the establishment to vote consistently anymore, so they're being phased out of the Oppressed Snowflake Club.

There may be a considerable pushback concerning "gay privilege" by LGBT communities, this may or may not be a test case for such a move on a larger scale.

I think that meme'ing "gays are out" might also play into the predictability of the outcome of this test. I'm not going to take any information-spreading action, personally.

This is pretty fucking gay.

Nevertheless, it's not a terrible idea to have this as a sort of containment board. The "ALT-RIGHT SUPPORTS LBGTBBQ+ GAS ALL THE FAGGOTS" crowd is surely – at least in part – some sort of divide et impera thing. Dudes liking dudes doesn't involve politics, and I'm sure everyone – or most – here would agree that gay marriage, adoption of children, etc. is unacceptable. What we're looking for is companionship, self-understanding, and so forth. Things which are personal and seldom involve external society.

Most of us don't have a real problem with homosexuality. What we have a problem with is flamboyant nature of many effeminate men which has created a culture of degeneration.

When Brett decided to propose to Max, he came up with one of the most cutest and geekiest ways in the world to do it.

Both lovers of Pokémon, he decided to offer him a ring of his choice; a grass type, a fire type and a water type.

The grass type ring had a wooden inlay, the fire type was black with a red gem, and the water type had a mother of pearl inlay.

He said yes. Max picked the fire ring, but still got to keep the other two rings.

"At the beginning of every adventure, you need to pick a partner. I chose him. So, I figured if he said yes, he could decide what to wear on his finger. Whatever he picked as his official starter will “evolve” at milestone anniversaries. I got plans."

I'm sure many of you have heard homosexual behavior considered a mental disorder. I'm curious to what you fellows, being both Rightwing yet Gay/Bi yourselves what your take on it is? I personally don't believe that homosexuality or at least bisexuality is a mental disorder due to it's prevalence both in nature and in ancient civilizations from the Greeks and Romans to the ancient Japanese. This is a topic I've wrestled with for a while and it's always difficult to get a concrete source for study as everyone who posts studies/research/articles on this sort of thing are usually either bleeding heart liberals who want to exterminate the straights or Nazi larpers who wants to exterminate the gays. Any relevant studies or theories that you use to support your belief on the subject would be appreciated.

I give a shit. I care for the same reasons that made us want to understand how and why we do any of the other things we do as humans. It isn't a matter of legitimizing or privatizing for me, I'm generally just curious about human behavior. I understand most people don't want to over think such things, they just want to accept them and move on, and that is fine, but I like to know the hows and whys.

I mean, if it is a mental illness, then we could try to find a cure right? On the other hand, if it isn't an illness but something we evolved into our society over the tens of thousands of years we have been around, then maybe we shouldn't try to "cure" it until we understand the why.

 No.77

>>76

>cure

I personally don't believe it's something that needs to be cured. However my strong belief in it not being a mental illness might be swaying my opinion.

 No.79

>>77

I agree with this sentiment. I'm done trying to "cure" myself.

 No.425

it depends on what you define a mental illness as. personally i don't think it is. or if it is, it is one so insubstantial that basically any other mental illness i can think of is more severe and detrimental. the case for it being one would primarily just be that men are biologically supposed to be attracted to women. to illustrate, something like "situs invertus" is when organs are inverted to the opposite side of the body, yet it apparently has a low statistical chance of actually being directly detrimental. assuming no ill effects are had, the only issue is that this is not biologically supposed to happen. as to why it occurs? not sure, and it may just be an anomaly.

honestly i would point towards people claiming to be "transgender" as something far more deserving of the term mental illness. after all, it generally goes along with wanting to heavily modify and mutilate ones body, along with apparent dysphoria. regardless of if it is just a pure mental disorder or a or one that goes further with actual hormonal imbalances, etc, it has definitive negative symptoms, and should be considered a mental illness accordingly. honestly i find it odd that its even put into the same "category" as being gay

Well, the horseshoe does give off that Village People vibe. Also seems pretty difficult to maintain and not fuck up. I guess you'd call what I sport a walrus since it just droops over my mouth. Dunno if that's any less gay, but I have a baby face, so I think it looks cool. Wouldn't consider it effeminate, I think handlebars and heavily trimmed facial hair takes more upkeep at the end of the day, which isn't a bad thing, just not what most would consider especially masculine (maybe).

If I could grow a beard, I'd just do that, though.

Oh yeah, and I press flowers. It would seem effeminate, but I've only ever met men who are into horticulture/herbariums/whatever. I just live in an area with a lot of wildflowers, so I guess it just gave me something to look for while hiking.

Now you're putting words in my mouth. I never implied pederasty was akin to "slavery," all I ever implied was that homosexual encounters at a young age can turn straight people gay, and this isn't fringe psychology or whatever, it's pretty established. The idea that a 14 or 15 year old boy can consent to sucking off a 30 year old man, and that this is, in your words, "seen as healthy and natural" means fuck-all. It was healthy and natural for Canaanites to sacrifice their babies to a giant oven shaped like Moloch. It was healthy and natural for Aztecs to tear the still-beating heart out of whoever the fuck they declared to be that day's sacrifice.

Sorry, but your post reeks of moral relativism. The inherent difference in power between a young teenager and a grown man is huge, and the idea that this helped young boys in anyway is laughable. Being buttfucked or sucking an old man's dick is not some great gift, it's abuse, it's rape. That's my point of view. Sure, there may be instances of gays who loved it, and sure, society normalized this back then, so of course you're not going to hear from those who derided the practice (see: NAMBLA today being heard from in two thousand years).

But your basing an argument on a strawman sort of pissed me off, as did what seems to be a predisposition towards moral relativism. I don't really care what the fuck they thought of pederasty, there are millions of Americans who think circumcision is "hygenic" and in the baby's best interest. People can be fucked up, and these fucked up people go on to fuck more people up. The cyclical nature of child abuse is what allows for systems like pederasty to endure. I understand you're not supporting pederasty, but it seems to me a bit delusional to claim that one calling pederasty child rape to be an "extreme" point of view.

 No.315

>>306

Absolutely.

>>314

Moral relativism? Personally I think pederasty is an immoral act – and nowhere did I say otherwise, I just explained the consensus of the societies which engaged in the practice.

 No.570

Well, if a guy is just generally handsome, then I won't be picky. But if he isn't, then certain things make up for that, mainly masculine traits. I wouldn't be able to date a guy who was into social media and queer news and watching TV. I like to have fun, so I'd like a guy into some activity/hobby, especially an /out/-tier sport, even if it just means climbing on rocks and shit. It's just boring to hear someone talk about fucking television or meme news (hurr did you see jimmy, you gotta see this vine..) maybe I'm picky, but I have no problem laughing people like this out the door.

As for physical traits, well again, perhaps I'm picky, but circumcised dicks sort of gross me out, so I can't say I've been too thrilled with the cut guys I've been with. It's sort of a drag, I don't know what to do with the thing. I also get a bit bored with hairless guys, I mean, the hairier the better. I'm a weirdo, but if a guy has a long beard and a hairy ass, he could be a 3/10 and I'd fawn over him, just no fatties. I don't like the bear scene because it seems to be filled with fatasses.

Okay, this post was kind of lame rambling, but I would reiterate that it's really effeminacy I'm turned off by, for whatever reason. Be it personality, or looks, the manlier- the better. I'd rather be with a tomboy than a flamer, not that I have anything wrong with ultra-queers, I've been friends with Beyonce-worshiping morons, but to imagine a relationship where I had to pretend to care about that shit is just asking too much. I want to be with someone I admire/respect.
